Hey Chris, I just want to give some feedback with regards to your site. I really enjoyed the site in its early years but I feel Batman News has lost its way. It was basically the Batman/DC news site the internet was missing IMO when it launched, I believe I even help create a couple of logo banners for you for different seasons like Christmas and Halloween early on. However in recent times I feel the site has fallen victim to the same type of sensationalising as other pop culture websites, I also feel there's isn't the same level of objectivity and honesty as there once was which was one of the reasons I liked the website originally. I think you can make improvements in this regard which will make the site a far better source for Batman and DC news. Just my two cent.

Just saying it wouldn't surprise me if they picked his more "out there" takes....again its a trailer company..

Yeah I can tell those are different takes, but the differences are subtle. Plus the lighting and color correction is different. His delivery is still similar in those shots.

The one on the right seems like he's trying a bit too hard. The one on the left he has this gleeful calm to him. That made it scarier imo.

I'll be pretty bummed out if Suicide Squad was the last that we saw of Leto's Joker in the DCEU. I personally enjoyed his take on the character, even if he was featured pretty briefly in the film.

I think Leto, in an Affleck directed Batman solo, would demonstrate his true worth. SS was just a tease at most. Not enough to leave an impression.

Agreed. Also I can tell that going by the trailer takes ...most of those aren't exactly the same takes compared to the takes in the film.


I'm pretty sure a different shot of harley licking the steel bar was not the same take that was used in the trailers and tv spots. That version of the take was different as opposed to what we saw in the final cut which was an angle ...blah I can't even explain these things very well
