For sure it is always needed. We all enjoy some dumb fun type films or guilty pleasures. It’s how it should be. This seems it’s going to be a lot of fun and something I definitely wanna see in the theater with a big audience. I remember seeing Snakes On A Plane like opening weekend with a full crowd. Such a funny and fun experience. Haven’t had one of those in a good while.

Defensive? I put a laughing smiley dude, I could give 2 craps about whether someone disliked this film or not, I just expect it to do what it says on the tine. I just thougght it weas funny that the other guy posted a few positive responses and you rocked up with a negative one from somewhere.

Sort of disgusting and grossly unfair since I've been very excited about this film. Go back through the thread history. I've been very interested in seeing this. I've wanted to see this movie happen for years.

Now who is being defensive? not to mention overly dramatic? You forget we have been butting heads for 14 years man, usually with me on the positive side of the argument regarding a film, it's no big deal, my comment was just a bit of fun that you have decided to take seriously and turn into a thing.

Some people in my Facebook group went to the same screening those reactions came from. I noticed this one in particular came up from another film critic, and it at least offers a different reaction to some of the other earlier ones. Seemed relevant to the thread.

This movie still looks ridiculous and I still love it.
The only thing truly bothering me is how the hell you have Jason Statham in a movie set on the ocean and not have him shirtless in any of the promos! Fail!
