Transformers Jazz shorter than Bumblebee??? Height confirmations:

I'm confused. Why are all on set pics of Bumblebee shown as the new Camaro if Spike bought him as an old beat up one?
All those pics don't show him as a new Camaro, there are plenty floating around (check the "All Pirctures Thread"). Bumblebee is purcahsed by Spike early on in the movie as a late '70s Camaro. At some point in the film, he changes into the newer concept version.

Ah ok. That makes sense.

Yeah, Spike calls Xzibit and asks to get his ride pimped out. X drove Bumblebee to West Coast Customs and got him hooked up 2007 Camaro style.

That's how he actually becomes a Transformer. WCC tricks him out that much.

Mad Mike did a killer job with the transformation work.

Who wants to talk thru their mouths now day? PUH LEEZ... when you can talk thru your radio.. that's right the radio.

Thanks you Bay and GAS(latest place for the show) costumes for pimpin my ride.

god i hate that show.

Man, some folks are just wound too tight over this movie.

Well, at least Jazz is in it. Jazz is pretty much the "Gambit" of the Autobots, the cool ****er. I wish he could be taller, but look at Starscream lol. He looks like Ugg Lee

Yeah. Ireead somewhere that he will kick ass Kup style lol. No wthat i think about it jazz could be doing a lot of sneaking on the decepticons especially Megs.

Look folks, it's not the size of your Transformer that counts, it's how you use it.

Jazz shouldn't be smaller than Bumblebee. Bumblebee should be the smallest.

BB would be the smallest if he was a VW.

If jazz is a porsche then it would'nt make sense if jazz was made out to be bigger than BB since a camaro is bigger than a porsche.

I'm curious. What do you mean by kick ass Kup style?

Even if Jazz was the Porsche and Bumblebee was the Bug, both cars are very close in size.

jazz does no sneaking around on the decepticons. [judging by the script].
in fact he does pretty much nothing in the entire film bar a few lines and
getting his spark taken out of him [killed] by megatronINO.
anyone expecting the cool jazz u know and love from G1. dont count on it.

In the script Prime calls Jazz his 2nd in command. Why would the lieutenant be the smallest(and going by the script one of the weakest) in the group? Thats just dumb to me:o

If this crap about Jazz is true then what is the point of him being in the movie? I already saw one of my favorite X-Men characters get shafted with a pointless role in X3. I don't want to see the same thing happen to one of my favorite autobots in the Transformers movie!!!!!

In the cartoon Jazz was second in command in episodes 1, 2, and 3. After that Ironhide took over as second in command. Ironhide even took over as leader of the Autobots in an episode called a Prime Problem.

What was the rationale again for making BB a Camaro? Why didn't they make him the Solstice? Let me beat xw2 to it... "a teenager wouldn't want a solstice."
NEWSFLASH: A teenager in 1984 wouldn't have wanted a Beetle either... they would have wanted the Trans-am from Knight Rider.

It's a dumb rationale for what is in essense an ejaculation of Bay's ego.

how about that coyote from hardcastle and mccormick

A lot of kids nowadays would love an old bug to be their first car. Old volkswagens are actually considered cool. A 1982 diesel Rabbit may look like crap, but I doubt you'd find many people who wouldn't want one.

Though thats mostly because they can go 600 km on a single $10 tank of gas.

But I guess that rationale is void since VW wants nothing to do with mad amounts of advertising for the cost of a free car.

And as we established weeks ago, Bay COULD have done it anyway (it's called creative license). It just means the studio would have to actually buy the cars instead of having the car company not only give em for free but actually pay EXTRA on the side to feature the car (which is what GM did).

Of course, the same constitutional protection doesn't extend to Hasbro selling toys based on the likeness. So, Hasbro would have to make the toy look different.

If I were Bay, I would have told Hasbro-- "If I don't have the creative license to make this story faithful, I'm not doing this project." But, Bay ain't that sort of artist.
