Comics Jean and the Phoenix Force

That Phoenix is Jeans mutation.

What!?! Jean's mutation is telepathy, telekinesis and the ability to tap into the Phoenix Force.

While Jean is part of the Phoenix Force, she is not the source of the Phoenix Force.

I understand lol, what would your reaction be though if they where to change it to like a mutation of Jean???? As you got the whole Shi'ra thing as well, how would the explain there involment?

Their was something on here that said they were gonna bring Jean back alive and say her mutation is the Phoenix...you didn't see it?

So are you telling me that if she were alive...she could not destroy the universe? Because I have seen some "Phoenix VS. Storm" threads and people bring that up all the time. I have also heard that she needed the X-men's lifeforce to save the Universe.

It has not been shown that she could destroy a universe. Until it has the answer is no. Can she recreate the universe, yes. Can she create a universe from scratch? It has not been shown so no. People spouting she can destroy universes are wrong. Marvel never shown or stated such.

She didn't need the lifeforce. Jean needed the love and support from her friends to help her save the universe by repairing the M'Kraan Crystal.

I think he talking about the first time Phoenix saved the universe from the power of the M'Kraan Crystal. IIRC, she had to use the life force of Storm and Cyke's father to heal the crystal.

I don't recall her ever using someone else's life force. The only time Phoenix took someone's life force was when she gave Jean back to the x-men, then she took a portion of all the x-men's life force to complete Jean.

I don't recall her ever using someone else's life force. The only time Phoenix took someone's life force was when she gave Jean back to the x-men, then she took a portion of all the x-men's life force to complete Jean.

IIRC, that only happened in the cartoon, if you remember Rogue on the team during this lifeforce sharing moment, then it's from the cartoon not the comic.

Yeah, Rogue didn't show until the DP comic book. I can't remember the Phoenix comic book and can't refer to it since it was stolen. So I don't know if he ment Comic or Cartoon.

yeah it was, i saw that post as well, the cartoon didn't have Jean kill herself at then end, so they did the thing with the X-men giving up a bit of each of them, instead of her killing herself in front of Scott.
