Comics Jean and the Phoenix Force

Simply, they need to bring her back, say she isn't Phoenix, then kill her again and bring her back saying she is Phoenix...

Jean is going to return. At that time it will be written that the phoenix force is actually her mutation which has only recently manifested. It will be given that they can survive individually but are only whole when they are together. Each time she burns out will explain the appearance of the phoenix for at different points in time, but the pf would be uncertain of it's true identity while separated from Jean which will explain the reason it believed to be a separate entity from Jean when they first encountered each other in the space shuttle decades ago (the phoenix force being confused didn't know that Jean was actually a part of it, or it a part of her, whatever your pleasure).

And of course it's gonna have to take a great writer with the passion of Mr. Claremount back in the day, before being scorned by Marvel.

Is it true that jean is the white crown phoenix? and what is it what does this title mean?

As far as we can tell the "White Crown" title means nothing. Maybe will find out more in Phoenix: Warsong:)

OMG. I just change what I said about her powers being a fake. Her entire mutation is a fake! AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That is just the dumbest thing about Jean. They should have just left the Phoenix force well alone.

True, that is the opinion of one person.Just like assuming Ororo to be of the cosmos, like dat will happen.
I still think that the phoenix story could be great if written right.

... -throws up at the mention of Storm to be of the cosmos- jean is Phoenix. Phoenix is Jean. The End..

... until she rises from the ashes and haunts each and every one of you.

glad i'm not the only one who threw up at that post lol.

back to the road, the only that they could come that phoenix is her mutation is that it was originally her mutation until she touch the M'Kraan crystal( the crystal unites all realities). when she touch it, the crystal launches a wave at her, separating her in two: power (body)- phoenix , human (mind or heart)- Jean...... but still at some point they meet again, because they are originally one....

this changes the reality.... making her mutation an entity...but then it merge back....

No, the Phoenix Force is a force that has existed since the beginning of time. It was the force behind the Big Bang and it will be the force behind the Big Crunch. It exists to protect the M'Kraan Crystal and fix the universe by burning away things that don't work.

Jean Grey's mutation is that she is the Phoenix, the true avatar manifestation of this force, aka the house in which it lives and the hand through which it acts. They are one and the same.

That's all there is to it. The only reason that there were any confusion as to why the Phoenix was a separate being is because a fragment of the Force copied Jean's personality and then started to think that it was a different being than her. The truth is that it was not, and that this fragment was a part of Jean from the very beginning.

That was a freakin opinion. They actually said Storm is one with the cosmos in the comics. So I don't know why you, Prettyboy, and Bastila are getting so angry. You don't see me jumping off the walls when people talk about Storm so you shouldn't get mad at a mere opinion.:o

I was thinking last night and i know some people think Phoenix is a force that went into her then you got the whole its Jean mutation so how do you explain Rachel Grey? She has Phoenix powers must be in her DNA and reason i'm asking as i never read any altertive realitie or furture X-comics i think they get silly, i like to stick with normal timelines. So anyway Rachel?Phoenix Power?DNA?

Rachel Grey does have Phoenix DNA because of her genetic link to Jean; this is evidenced by the fact that she often displays fiery raptor effects even when she self-admittedly has no connection to the Phoenix itself. She is capable of hosting the Phoenix Force, likely the best-possible candidate after Jean, because she is also an omega-class psychic whose powers almost mirror her mother's in form and capacity. She did, in fact, host the Phoenix Force and become the Phoenix for a substantial time when Jean was dead that first time.

Even when she was the Phoenix, however, she could self-admittedly only draw upon a limited portion of that vast power. This could be due either to her inexperience, to some sort of genetic incompatibility (she's only Jean's daughter, after all, not her clone), or to the fact that -- as we now know -- the Phoenix Force she commanded was only a shattered fragment of the whole.

As for why Rachel has been closely connected to the Phoenix merely on the merit of being Jean's child while Jean's other "children" Nathan/Cable and Nate/X-Man have never had much to do with it, there are several possible explanations; the answer might be one of the following or it might easily be all of the following. The first explanation is that they simply aren't genetically compatible with the Phoenix; most people aren't, after all. The other is the fact that Cable and X-Man were never truly born from Jean; Cable was Maddie's child and X-Man was a test tube baby, and either of those events could have prevented them from inheriting any true Phoenix traits beyond the telepathy and telekinesis.

The third is an interesting idea that Claremont brought up in a recent issue of Uncanny...simply put, the Phoenix should a female -- or at least feminine -- being; being male, Nathan and Nate may not have been appropriate receptors of that power to say the least.

yes but if you see the storyline here comes tomorrow you see that there are also males phoenix, one example is quentin quire, as it is shown in that story. also Phoenix IX is a man........so both sexes can be host to phoenix..

Ok well thanks for taking time to answere the questions i had Brain it helped explain some things.
