The Dark Knight Jett finally gives us something to talk about! (ie Harvey Dent)

The fact is that whether you think a certain actor is God's Gift to Men or not - the general public consider these people to be among the most attractive men in hollywood. That is what we need in a Harvey Dent.

I should really get around to that screentest then.

That is one role. He has gotten others right.

Plus Jett isn't even saying that its one of these three that gotta get the role.

He is just reporting the same rumor that many other sites are reporting like Moviehole and AICN. He was be remiss in his duties and the purpose of his site if he didn't report on notable rumors.

Don't bash the guy just for the sake of bashing him or because its popular to do so.

I wasn't bashing Jett at all. I am merely stating the facts, and why no one should put much stock in these three choices right now. What the hell is so wrong about that?

Eion Bailey would be a great Dent and an even greater Two-Face. Granted, my only knowledge of him is some photos and a video interview on YouTube, but here is my assessment:

1. The "unknown" charge can be easily negated. I can easily imagine seeing the trailer for TDK and the Dent actor's name flashing across the screen and me thinking, "Don't know who that is, but he sure can act." So that argument is out the window.

2.For me, the requirement for Dent acting-wise (aside from good chemistry with Bale) is that he can play both sides of him-the brash, good-natured attorney and the vicious, merciless,half-scarred crime boss. Let's see if he passes it:

Becoming Two-Face

Looks like we have a winner. All he needs is the right makeup...NOT PROSTHETICS!!!

^lol. It's not that I don't have Jungle Fever, I'm just more attracted to white/latino guys. I wouldn't rule out dating a black guy, but Foxx is ugly as hell.

Ok, sorry I gota ask. Are you female?

LOL, dude, WTF are pictures supposed to prove?

Yeah, and remember everybody that I'm Mr. "Dent can be black, dammit," but TAS Dent is white. :o

:whatever: Look you can like Foxx and whoever else for Dent and I'll keep the people who I want for Dent. Foxx, Denzel, Samuel L., Will Smith, Laurence Fishburne, and Taye Diggs and whoever else are all talented African-American actors, but I don't want them for Dent. If they got picked I wouldn't just skip out on the movie, I'll be there opening day to see it, but I still wouldn't be happy that I'm not seeing the definitive Dent.

It's not about race or who could play it better. It's just there are some people in the comic-book world and universe who want to see "Their Dent." Obviously, you and others couldn't care less who gets picked which is fine because you have that right, but others have certain people and ideas of who they want as Dent and how he should be portrayed like me.

But hell who knows...Cillian Murphy wasn't my choice for Scarecrow (Jeff Goldblum) but he knocked it out the park. So why can't a black actor, Latino actor, or Asian actor, whoever impress me just the same? Get my drift? I'm willing to be openminded and give them a chance, but see why I'm objective towards Foxx is he's use to playing this slick, cool, jive-talking characters, but he hasn't had a character that is in your face and is a total freak that could shoot up a shopping mall in a second. Clive Owen, Liev Schrieber, Joaquin Phoenix, and Guy Pearce all have played roles where they are generally scary bad-ass people you would not want to doublecross or mess with.

If Foxx gets it than good for him. If Norton or Bailey get it than good for them. I just want the part to get casted and Latinoreview or Aintitcool.com to do a script-review of the movie already.

I'll admit that at times, there are things that I can't reveal. However...

...the actor who has won the role of Dent is not one of them. AND, BOF nor I have EVER been a part of misleading my bros -- the Bat-Fans.

I'm like y'all, a Bat Fan. And proud of it too.

Discuss.

Does that mean the role has been cast, or Jett would not lie to us if he were to hear about the role being cast...?

Hmmm....

What the hell?

Is Lindsey Lohan writing for BOF?

Baily looks like a pretty good Dent.

Seriously though...I think Jett is pulling most of these "stories" out of his ass.

Next month we'll be hearing an official announcement of Paul Reuben as Harvey Dent.

What does Ryan Reynolds have to do with anything? He's never even been mentioned... Although I certianly would not protest that choice, yet I'd love to see him as the Flash.

Jamie Foxx as Dent, eh? How'd the last movie that turned a white suit into a black one go? What was it called? Daredevil? Oh yeah, now I remember, it sucked, as did every major casting decision in that movie.

If Foxx is in consideration for Dent, kind of makes you wonder if all that faith in Ledger as Joker is really worth it. At least Foxx can act.

Yeah, that's why Daredevil sucked, cuz Kingpin was black. Sure...

Of course, I really dont think Daredevil was all that bad in the first place, but if I did, it certainly wouldn't be cuz they made Kingpin black, even though Michael Clarke Duncan was just about the only actor big enough to play him. Hell, even MCD was a bit too small.
