The Dark Knight Jett finally gives us something to talk about! (ie Harvey Dent)

Foxx is not Dent. Washington is more Dent. Foxx couldn't pull it off. Good actor, I even like the guy, just no Dent there.

Norton is a bad ass, but again no Dent there. Not sure about Bailey. He looks like Harvey.

This sounds like all the casting kerfuffle just before Heath Ledger was cast as The Joker. I'm betting we will find out soon and it will end up being none of those three actors mentioned.

It will be another "out of left field" casting ...I hope :)

Edward Norton can do anything dark, imho. Dent's a cakewalk. That said, I think Jamie Foxx would make it the most memorable, because of his creative acting style. It depends on if they want to do something fresh and Awesome, like the Tumbler, or transcribe the comics, like they did with... Lucious Fox, maybe?

I don't know who Bailey is. Never heard of the guy.

However, both Norton and Foxx seem like good choices to me. They're sort of opposites; Norton feels like a normal guy but he's known for his work in edgier movies. He's a great performer. Foxx is multi-talented and generally likeable; he's proven to be a good actor but he's never done anything edgy like Norton has.

The thing is, "edgy" has very little to do with Harvey Dent / Two-Face.

I'd be happy with either of those two choices. Part of me hopes it's Foxx just because it will piss off so many of you. :D

Foxx couldn't pull it off.

I'm not sure about that. Dent really isn't a complicated character. It's basically two characters, post-scarring; a charmer and a thug. I've seen Foxx do both of those with my own two eyes. Sometimes even in one movie.

Bailey could work, though i've never seen him act, he's definately got the "Dent" look. i like Ed Norton, but i see him as the Riddler, NOT Two-Face. as for Foxx, i hate that guy. i don't want him anywhere near this film at all :cmad:

Why so much Foxx hate? Does he kill puppies in his spare time and nobody told me?

It's just something that we can't explain. He just DOESN'T feel right. You'd know where we're coming from. ;)

I just can't see Foxx as Dent. I mean sure he could play him. But so could a good actress. Doesn't means I'm going to cast the actress to play Dent just because she can.

Norton, while extremely capable (one of the best actors of this generation) doesn't have the look of Dent. However, he wouldn't be the worst choice, because I feel if he were cast, he'd do an exceptional acting job that may allow us to forget the "look". Especially with how I imagine him portraying Two-Face.

Foxx? No, he's no Dent. I don't see him in the role in the least. I think his acting skills may be able to do it, but I just really don't envision him in the role at all.

Baily- I think could pull this off. Actually, I'm confident that he could pull of the role of Harvey Dent. Yet, one of the most important things is if I feel he could pull of the role of Two-Face, and the jury is still out on that. Out of the three, he definitely has the look to be the pretty boy D.A.

So, out of the three I feel that Edward Norton is the one who is most up to the task of playing the dual role. He is a big name and a very well respected actor. Baily, ascetically, is Harvey Dent but whether he could be the other half of the character worries me. Foxx, complete miscast.

LOL. Fair enough. I'll admit that when Foxx was first rumored for the role, weeks ago, I didn't think he seemed like a right choice, but I am a fan. The more time I've had to think about it, the more convinced I am that he could do it. I've reached the point where I'd like to see it happen just to see him do a type of role he's never done before.

Foxx is a good actor! Loved him in Collateral!

I'm kinda getting there. I wouldn't choose him for the role, but I'd be very interested in what he does with it.

And casting him would cause add a MASSIVE stir to the movies in terms of marketing and extra audience appeal...which would be great.

Norton for sure. Watch American History X if you wanna see his potential. Or Fight Club.

foxx can't be dent, he doesnt have the right look. His eyes are too far apart and he's kinda gap-toothed. Also he doesnt the right voice

I like Bailey the best. I think he has just the right look for Dent. I lover Norton to death as an actor but I think he's too timid to be Dent. Jamie Foxx, though he has proven himself to be a great actor in the last few years, strikes me as too goofy for the role.

Norton has the best range and is very convincing in some of the troubled roles he has played. Only problem is he is short and isn't a brute the way Harvey is depicted in the comics...

Clive Owen is my personal choice although a lot of people here I noticed don't prefer him for the role...

I would like to see Norton do this.
He's a great actor with a ton of faces.
