So I saw this again and I really love the scene where Rey was carried away by Kylo then Finn was desperately running and shouting towards them to no avail, that was such a good performance from Boyega. I got a feeling that Rey ends up with Poe. Because this might parallel with ANH where Luke instigated Leia's rescue like how Finn instigated Rey's rescue.

These were the actors that almost got the part of Finn.

I really can't imagine Jesse Plemons as Finn.

Glad Boyega got it. Attack the Block is one of my favourite horror movies of all time and Boyega puts in a star making performance. Hope they give him more serious scenes in the sequel because his dramatic stuff is far stronger than his comedy.

His dramatic acting must be glorious then because I thought his comedy was brilliant and well balanced as not to make light of the situation.

I love the Finn/Han funny moments with the force and Captain Phasma.

Star Wars' John Boyega Was Once a Stock Photo Model, who was discovered in University of Nebraska ad.....and 'Used the Money for New Trainers'

Not that long ago, on a college campus not that far away, one student made a surprising discovery: John Boyega, currently staring in the biggest movie in American history, did a stint as a stock photo model.

Someone at the University of Nebraska spotted Boyega in ads around the school, and shared the discovery on Imgur.

It's true: As photographer Chris Schmidt posted on Facebook in late December, Boyega participated in the Getty Images stock photo shoot long before he ever appeared in Star Wars(though it's unclear exactly when).

"I did an education-themed stock photo shoot with a bunch of teenage students; it turns out John Boyega did quite well afterwards," Schmidt wrote. "The force is strong with this one..."

Boyega, 23, confirmed the images, the usual stock photo fare of smiling students posed around a campus, in a tweet Friday.

Responding to a follower, he said that he used the money from the photos "for new trainers."

whats hilarious is if you went back in time to that picture and said to those people "NOT LONG FROM NOW SOMEONE IN THIS ROOM IS GOING TO STAR IN THE NEXT STAR WARS TRILOGY..."

I'm fine with Rey ending up with either one, it's just that in ANH I thought Luke/Leia were going to happen. Trivia, J.K. Rowling regrets not pairing off Hermione with Harry. I agree, Hermione/Harry is much better.

Judging by Boyega's recent comments, it looks like Finn won't be suffering from a debilitating injury. Still, I hope the effects of what happened to him are at least referenced. You don't take a blow like that without some serious damage occurring.

Agreed, Boyega killed it in that scene. I also love how, when Rey finds out from Chewie that it was Finn's idea to come back for her (the fact that she had already escaped on her own does not make the attempt any less noble on his part), she just instantly hugs him. THAT was the first time that I got true romantic vibes from those two.

I definitely got romantic vibes from Finn, but not Rey at this point. That last kiss she gives him is very platonic.

They have series full of young attractive people, I'm sure romance is bound to happen at some point If not with Rey and Finn, maybe Finn and some new female character.

I also hope that they don't exclude romance for Rey because don't you know, she's a strong independent woman and she don't need no man etc.

I never got an impression that Harry was much of a thinker or an intellectual, to be honest. He's just intense and moody.

Or, J.J. could do something that's never been done before in a major block buster, instead of it being Finn and Rey, or Rey and Poe, it could be Poe and Finn.

I could never buy the Hermione/Harry thing. They did come off too much like brother and sister. I also didn't like Harry with Ginny either, I liked him better with Luna, or maybe someone that wasn't involved in the magical world at all.

With Hermione, I know it never would happened the way Rowlings, wrote the book, but I thought it could have been sweet if it was Hermione and Draco, considering his past.
