All other movies are lllllllllllllaaaaammmmmmmmmeeeeeeeee!!!!

Poor Shang-chi. There is no way that it is even going to come close to the final fights in this.

Loved the movie. However, a bit of a question to others on here who've also seen the movie:

Am I the only one who thinks Winston faked his betrayal of John in order to keep up appearances with the High Table and to remain John's ally on the inside? If he really wanted to betray John for real, he would've shot him in the head. Plus, that side conversion he has with Charon afterwards clearly implies this is the case. Of course, I don't think John knows this and he's NOT gonna be happy with Winston over this next time.

Winston definitely expected him to survive. Not entirely sure what game Winston is playing, though. Because the evidence is quite apparent in what happens when you piss of John Wick. We will have to see how Chapter 4 plays out.

There's something going on there.

Yeah... :hehe:

The way I see it....
Winston knew John was going to survive, but he also knew they couldn't win that night. So he made a play, and we will see if it works out for John, Winston or even both of them.

I already have an urge to see this a second time. The action in this film is just too damn incredible to put into words.

Yes!!! I’m still trying to process what I saw!! Holy cow from the horse to Sofia’s dogs to that ending!! Wow!! Just wow!! This movie reminded me of two Bruce Lee movies ( Game of death and Enter the dragon) mashed up into one

The Raid Pair knife fight is my personal favorite in the entire film.

The film was *very* smart to realize that without the Chapter 1 catalyst, it was better to just embrace every single implication and... consequence:D... of Chapter 2’s ending and just make this an insane high-speed-chase of a movie.

It’s far more over the top than the other two films - but is an artistic choice that matches the necessary escalation heralded by Chapter 2 and still manages to stay within the bounds of the film’s universe. There was a part midway through Berry’s scene where I realized just how much this world of the film feels like it’s been adapated from some massive multi-issue manga, but this is just all the directors and their coworkers cutting loose in a magnificent way.
The knife store fight in the first act is my favorite in the movie with The Raid knife fight a close second. Hilarious and brutal at the same time.

Every one is gonna have their own favorite action scene in this one. This literally has everything! Love sword fights? We got you. Love reading? We got you. Love guns? We got you. Love animals? Man we got you!!! This is the type of film that makes you want a stunts oscar category. The work being showcased here is unbelievable.

Just watched Chapter 2.
This franchise really likes to break glass.
See Parabellum tomorrow.
Looks like the tradition continues.

One thing I noticed was that there was a good amount of nut shots. I cringed a lot in the theater.

Saw chapter 3 last night. What can I say? this is a masterpiece. pure and simple.
Probably the best action movie in decades. and I am not exagerating here.
I still prefer the intimacy of the first one's story, but this one is a damn close second. The action is insane, visceral, and every other amazing adjective you can think. there were some scenes, where you could almost feel every blow.
Now, if there was just one thing I would change would be to have cast Carrie Anne-Moss in the Adjudicator part. She would have been perfect, and seeing this is pretty much a matrix reunion, it would have been just sheer joy.
Also, where can we start a petition to get this entire team to be on board on the next Matrix? Stahelsky already confirmed that the Wachowskis were working on it. Have them write it, and him direct it. Best of both worlds really

It kills me that I haven't seen this yet. Planning to go Sunday.

Wow...

What a rollercoaster of a movie, I absolutely loved it. Easily my favorite of the year so far. The action was freaking awesome and so cool. I love how inventive they were, and how different it was from the previous films. No two set pieces felt the same. If I had to pick a favorite it’d either be the first fight in the store or the last shootout. Both were insane. My only complaint for the film as a whole was that the last fight felt a little dragged out. But it’s a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things.

What a masterclass of action filmmaking. I am blown away. I thought the ending of 2 was surprising, this one ramped it up a notch. Can’t wait for the future.

I mean the series deserves all the money it gets. Even if you aren't a fan of the genre, if you can even pin it to one, they're all very well made.

Presumably John inspecting a gun, just before the aforementioned knife fight.
It actually goes deeper than that: John doesn’t just inspect a gun, he winds up taking apart multiple guns to put together one gun that he then checks for feasibility by pulling back the hammer to hear the cylinder rotate - which makes no damn sense from an actual mechanical standpoint, but is exactly what Tuco did in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

It’s a shout-out so specific it can’t be coincidence.

Massive props should go to Cinematographer Dan Laustsen for his work here too. He really took his game to the next level with both the camera and his use of light and color. He's been nominated for an Oscar before, but I think this is his best work.
