Cool picture, Batman #1 is indeed referenced, Nolan is a man of his word. Ledger looks like a mortician, with a perfect lanky frame for the Joker, slightly reminiscent of Angus Scrimm, the tall man in phantasm. I hope we'll soon get more pictures or something.

So many people seem to biting at the gleam on his forehead as possible permawhite skin. If you'll take that as evidence why not wrist and neck pic that Miranda pointed out a month ago? That seemed more credible than what looks just to be light reflecting of his head in the cop pic.

hes not perma white...hes just white(as in he hasnt got any sun)...and he took off the face paint to be the cop but he still has green hair and red lips lol

i figure Nolan is going with perma-red lips, rather than the bleached skin. for scars as severe as the one on Ledger's mouth, discoloration is far from unheard of. bright pinkish/red is the most likely color the scar would stay.
