Really interested in seeing how the action set pieces pans out, because it seems like Neena is chasing a vehicle on a motorcycle while Deadpool follows in a bright red moped and Cable is on foot with a gigantic gun.

I think the movies should skip the evil clone stuff with Madelyne Pryor and Stryfe personally. Unnecessarily complicated stuff from the comics should be streamlined for the movies.

Jean Grey can be Cable's birth mother. Skip Stryfe and use Genesis as a foe instead.

i don't know what you were expecting. Cable is my second favorite character and I think they nailed him quite good. He may be a bit on the smaller side but this still works and is a minor thing that can be ignored

I'm reassured by the look of Cable, which I think is perfect and awesome. It doesn't seem campy; it's not covered in black leather; it feels accurate but also well modified for cinema. If Deadpool can pool off a sequel as good as the original, that'll be quite a triumph.

I don't have an issue with how he's been presented. We don't even know what his place in the film is. Who knows how long he's been here, and if he's connected to the X family at all yet, so maybe he'll get something you consider more appropriate as the film goes on.

The Xmen universe can't catch a break with their multiple dystopian futures. I hope its a Age of Apocalypse future he is coming from.

Its fair to question whether they will use Logan as a guiding point for what the future will be like.

Although cable could be from much further ahead in time from even Logan you can only have so many futures in one timeline, especially when Logan already set some ideas in that regard towards mutants being a rare breed.
