Age of Ultron Josh Brolin Is Thanos, The Mad Titan

Now theyre saying Thanos wont be in AOU unless its another end credits scene.

One thing I was also thinking was if AOU is dark and theres death death death as Joss said, maybe Thanos is kind of watching from afar whats happening on Earth and becomes more and more curious about The Avengers and how they are able to take on such huge challenges and overcome them. I dont know how/if Mistress Death will be presented, but maybe she will have something to do with AOU too

Awesome casting, Marvel knocks it out of the park again. Take Notes DC.

A very inspired choice. Well done, Marvel!

I love Josh Brolin so I'm completely fine with this & I know he'll ace it so I have no worries about him portraying the Mad Titan.

I think this is a great casting choice, but I think Brolin is so cool I wish he was playing a human hero instead of an alien villain.

Still, so glad he's in MCU and he's got such a major role in it.

I hope they have him speaking some alien language with subtitles, or if not, at least explain how a Titan from across the universe speaks the same language as common humans on parts of earth.

^^ Not gonna happen.

Yah didn't think so but I can only hope. I wonder if GoG will adress the issue. So many different languages here on earth, I would hope aliens don't all speak English.

There is no reason Thanos can't speak English. Seeing Thanos is an Eternal. Eternals are experiments made by the Celestials on humans during the First Host. Do we know if Thanos father was a human (spoke English), I don't know, but very well could be.

English hasn't been around that long at all though.

Same with all the alien races in GoG, they all have two arms two legs and a head located in the same spot as where a human would have. Even similar Heights. How tall will Thanos be? I'd like to see more originality in the sci fi world.

In avengers 1, Thor calls cap and stark "so tiny" but he's really only maybe 2"taller and 20lbs heavier. Weird.

Say 1100 for English about the time of the Third Host. Remember Thanos has the Deviant gene giving him that look that he has. If he was born around this time it would make sense. It all ties together.

Ok isee. Thanks for explaining it to me. I always thought Thanos was older than that.

I cant wait to see all the weird characters in GOTG. Itll be more like Star Wars with the diff alien races.

Also interested to see the cybernetically enhanced characters like Nebula. Her look is so awesome.

I read that Star-Lord has some sort of translator thing implanted in his neck.

If its any consolation to you guys, in spain all aliens seem to speak spanish and german in germany. Dubbing may be a horrible practice, but it kinda suport the "universal translator" theory. :woot:

The Other was speaking english so why wouldn't Thanos?

Also does Marvel have rights to Mephisto, being that he was Thanos' underling during IG?

They do now. He was tied into the Ghost Rider rights, and those reverted.

It's not even close when it comes to size and stature. Hemsworth is a mother effin' beast compared to them both.

RDJ is 5'9. When he trained for IM he started at 150lbs. They said he gained 25lbs of lean muscle, but doesn't state how much fat he lost in the process.

Evans is barely 6'0 .... for CA:TFA he increased his weight from 77kg's (169lbs) to 82kg's (180lbs)

Hemsworth is minimum 6'3. He started at 190 lbs and ended up 209lbs to the point where he was so bulked he could barely fit his suit.

If they opted not to use Mephisto, I could see Loki slipping into Mephisto's Infinity Gauntlet role quite nicely.
