I agree totally. He really surprised me in this.
Eh, critical reception has never mattered to me regardless. I like movies critics hate, and hate movies critics love. Sometimes I agree with them, which is cool, but it's always boiled down to my own personal enjoyment.
Cool to see him giving it props, however.![]()
^I think it depends on the DVD/BD sales to be honest, like the 1st movie. The sequel did have a lower budget after all, but man if Jim Carrey had promoted this I think it would have done a bit better at least.
Wouldn't surprise me if it didn't do well with home sales, hell I forgot it was even on blu-ray until now.
BTW has anyone kept up with the Kick-Ass 3 comics at all, and if so how are they?
True, but even with a slight simmer of hope, I don't think it needs one. I mean, other than the BS todd pulled & the ending with the ''Iron Kick-Ass", everything was wrapped up. Just say Mindy took all that money and moved somewhere for a normal life, and Dave continued his as Kick-Ass.
I agree. It would have been great seeing Nic Cage as Big Daddy again, for if his cameo was only going to be about a minute long. At least they included a picture of him in the movie.Chris may be alive, but he has zero limbs. Not too much of a threat, unless he becomes a cyborg, then **** all, might as well throw out the very tiny amount of realism the series has (though, KA2 pretty much did that.) His uncle, I think is supposed to be the baddie in KA3's comic, but in the movie there's one scene with him, and that's all. No other mention, other than the deleted scenes.
Also, alot of those deleted scenes should have been in the movie, and they definitely should have filmed the big daddy scene. Would've loved to see that.
