The Dark Knight Latino Review said they had the script....

one qst. WHERE DISD LR SAY THEY HAVE THE TREATMENT... in the article they said they got the script...

Seriously, if the treatment review was released next week, we'd have maybe a month of discussion / casting thoughts, followed by the official casting a couple of months later. By the time production begins, the buzz surrounding the film will have died down. Better to take your time, and spread the news far apart. It may not be liked by most posters here, but it's far more sensible.

For BB, we had the script reviews / release a year / 18 months before the films release, and people here are admitting they wished they hadn't known the plots / spoilers. If we had a script review nearly 2 years before, it would be worse.

You know this time, i may stay away from the script, (unless somebody sends it me)

There must be something around..for the title to go in place.

Dont know if you guys have seen this, But this is on LR,

Yo! Jeff Robinov's good buddy EL MAYIMBE here with the weekend read.

Now this goes out to all you BAT-FOLKS. You see…one of the first rules of screenwriting is to never be on the nose. Now I did the 1st script review of Batman Begins and I announced the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker. A big thanks to the WB for confirming my scoop and to all you haters out there who doubted me - eat them bananas mother****ers! Now wouldn't it be too soon or be too on the nose to come out and do the script review for THE DARK KNIGHT?! Isn't it like expected?

Well, have patience my friends, all in due time. Me announcing Heath was a commonly used old-fashioned screenwriting technique known as SETUP.

What's the PAYOFF? Stay tuned to Latinoreview my friends. He He He

Yeah, but the original article was taken down before.. I think now we have an article of LR actually saying something about the script!

Good question. In the original article they mentioned that they'd release it next week. Now it seems like we'd have to wait more...

Damn, maybe we will get it in a month.:(

Why I have feeling that they dont have it and just play game with us  :( :down

Nah... I think they have it and are postponing it because we got official news from Warner. So they'll keep it for later, when there are no news. But it could come within the next week(s).

I'm slighty confussed, so LR is going to review the script?

I think if they do..it will be a move set up by the WB, i think the original one was..and the script gatherd so much praise from the script.

Maybe they are doing it again..except this time through the online media.

I don't think were talking about The Prestige.

Actually we were.

As you know, the screenwriter of TDK is Jonathan Nolan (Chris NOlan's bro), who also wrote script for The Prestige, the movie which is directed by Chris Nolan starring Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Michael Caine.

So we can now have a vision of TDK's script, which will be very intricate (enough twists) and will have some psychological aspects of characters like Batman and Joker. So I am not sureprised, because I was expecting this from Nolan brothers.

It was at the beginning of their new script review of 'The Wolf Man' this morning!

Loved the Prestige script review. Exactly the kinda thing I was hoping for.

And at the end of the wolf man script review he signed off as 'The Dark Knight' and then jokingly corrected himself.

This doesn't sound like a guy who was disappointed by the script/treatment/whatever that he'd read. He sounds REALLY excited!

That bodes well for us Batfans!

Actually, The Prestige will be released in October 2006.

How detailed is the Prestige script review? I sorta want to read it, but at the same time I want to know next to nothing about the movie. :o
