The Dark Knight Latino Review said they had the script....

I hope they never release the treatment or the scipt itself, but simply post a review of it that's free of major spoilers. No "Ducard is Ra's type stuff" and nothing too specific, but I wanna know a basic synopsis. Who are the villains, what are their roles, etc. I'd be totally willing to read something like that, but i'm definatley gonna avoid actually reading the script (i didn't for Begins, and I dont want to for The Dark Knight).

That's what I'm wondering. I wonder if theis is the actual script, or just the treatment Goyer and Nolan wrote. It could also just be like the first 2 acts of the script since they might not be done with the first draft yet. Either way, it'll be interesting to read the review of it.

I really hope it's not a movie missing a third act at this point. That would colour the review a bit, and probably for the worse.

Because BATMAN BEGINS was so brilliant that knowing what happened twistwise somehow RUINED the film, right? (As if you couldn't see it coming a mile off to begin with).

Who cares if they post a review, spoilers or not? People, either you WANT to know what happens before the film comes out, or you don't. And you either have willpower, or you don't.

Relying on someone else not to spoil you makes very little sense.

Though I started this topic I'll believe when I here about it on here. Because, I'm 50/50 on LR.com

Unfortunaltey, not everyone is a kind, thoughtful individual. There are those that think its funny to go to the non spoiler board and reveal these kinds of things just for kicks. There are also innocent people who do it accidently, perhaps not knowing the rules or just forgetting spoiler tags. There's also a rare case in which a spoiler is in the title of a thread, that's currently the most recent posted in. Imagine coming to the boards, going to the Batman subsection, and seeing some major spoiler right there, where you didn't even have time to look away. I'm sure something like this has happened to just about everybody at some point or another.

Personally, I dont want to spend 2 years trying to avoid these boards hoping something like that doesn't happen. They should just keep these things under lockdown, then we wouldn't have to worry about it.

That's rough. If you think something insanely innovative is coming with the sequel, and if you're that worried about not being spoiled, stay off the internet areas that deal with it, or go to the Batman On Film boards.

They mentioned in their article on BOF that they had a script...but they took that report down because they patched up with BOF....

But expect something on a script in the near future

This is sort of confusing...when and where did they say they have the script? And what would them having their hands on the script have to do with BOF? BOF isn't affiliated with the studio so I don't understand what 'patching up' there would be?

Yeah knowing the twist kinda ruined it for me. I saw BB with one of my friends and he loved it. He isn't into Comics or anything and he said that he didn't expect "the dude that Liam Neeson played" coming back towards the end let alone been the bad guy.

Pissed me off a bit cause the whole time I knew and I was waiting for his return. It made me wish I was spoiler free...

With Superman Returns though the kid been his was soooo obvious. Even before I saw it and mentioned that Lois had a son, friends asked me straight away "Is it Supermans?"

i don't... i can't come here then. thank god i didn't visit any batman boards and sites in 2003, 2004, 2005. i had lost faith in the character afte b&r and thanks to nolan i'm a fan again but the great thing about batman begins is I DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING about Begins next to what you could see in tv spots and heard in cast interviews. it was a completely new experience and that's what was so great. i don't want any spoilers...

Same here.
BB was trul the best movie experience for me.

It as kept in the shadows, except the script leak.
Everything was new, and nothing was expected, especially Ra's coming back near the end, mostly because I forgot all about him.

hey does anyone know why BOF and LR were fighting? Jett said they made up, but wut started the whole thing??

And if Nolan starts the shooting in Jan, most likely the script will be done by November or December.

dude, they're gonna have at least 3 months of pre-production before shooting, which is heavily based on whats in the script. they're gonna need something very close to the final draft by at least october (if they plan on shooting in january, that is).

I could never bring myself to reading the script, I just couldn't. I didn't read the BB script.

I'll watch the official trailers and posters, some pictures..but the script- nay.

what are they saying there? has the script leaked out yet?

Well, by this time next week we'll see if LR is speaking the truth or not about having a review of TDK..........

At least A draft of the script must be done at this point. Jonah Nolan started writing it back at the beginning of the year. I doubt Heath Ledger would have signed if he hadn't been able to read significant portions of the script, and I'm sure they've shown a draft to PSH if he indeed has been offered Penguin. Those guys are both careful in their role selections and most likely wouldn't have considered anything without a script.

Plus if it's to shoot in January they need to get into some serious pre-production extremely soon, which would be tough without a script for all of the departments to get cracking on.

I know i dont post on this board a lot but i read it everyday, did i miss something? I didn't know they offered PSH Penguin? I heard the rumor but is it true? I wouldn't care, I like the thought of him as Penguin, but i haven't heard ne thing.

I would read the script/treatment/whatever in a heartbeat. I'm a bonafide spoiler junkie, and that's that.

yup, me too. and since this is a treatment, i expect alot of details to be different from the final product

They slandered Jett in an article because of an argument they had, and in the same article mentioned they had the script as a way of sorta one-upping Jett. But when they made up, they wanted to get rid of their article against BOF, so the script review mention kinda went with it.

I agree completely. I was spoiled about the whole Ducard is Ra's thing because some jackass didn't use spoiler tags....and the same with the big surprise in SR. He was just like, "Well everyone already knows, I don't need to use tags!" This was a month or so before the movie came out. Bastard.

Honestly, I had nott known that Ducard is Ras before I saw BB and that is why I loved BB more :)

me too, it was a little shock after i realizded that he is Ras:eek:

I'll never understand some of you people.
I went into a firey building and got burned, wtf?!

YOU ARE POSTING IN A SPOILER FORUM.
You even clicked on a thread that's title suggests that there might be spoilers inside of it, just to complain that you hope you don't see spoilers!!!

Take some responsibility for yourself and don't go places that you know will eventually ruin things about the movie for you if you don't want it ruined.

exactly. these people want their cake and eat it too. they expect to go into a spoiler forum and not learn spoilers
