BvS Lauren Cohan is Martha Wayne!

She probably got paid over 30k to lay on the pavement. :woot:

Also:

''There are no small parts, only small actors"- Stanislavski

Indeed.

I don't like to spread rumors from other sites -- so take this with a huge grain of salt -- but I actually read somewhere that
there's another flashback sequence involving the Waynes on a fishing boat. Remember that scene from the SDCC trailer where we see some indiscernible figure scuba diving? Many of us assumed that was Lex or one of his henchmen, but it might actually be none other than young Bruce.

Ageism is sexism now?

Either way, it's not like this isn't representative of real life. S***, JDM's wife is actually six months younger than Cohan...

When applied disproportionately to one sex (such as in the trend of drastically younger actresses being cast as love interests for older male leads), yes.

Henry Cavill is 32 and Amy Adams is 41. Damn sexism!:o

Fair enough!

I like Cohan. Good actress. I think she has the potential to be more in the DCEU, perhaps a female superhero? Perhaps a Catwoman or a Huntress? I think she's better than to be only in a flashback role.

I think I read somewhere that JDM originally declined the role of the Comedian because the character dies in the first scene of the movie.

I would love to see her play Joker in a Flashpoint movie with JDM as Batman.

Hell the idea of seeing Aquamoa and Wondergal duke it out on the big screen makes me salivate too

Was hoping she was going to get a more significant role when I saw her casting. But looking forward to seeing her either way. Love her in TWD and she is a good actress.

Maybe there will be more of her in the future, future films could also have flashbacks

From what I've seen of her on Walking Dead, I didn't exactly think she was the best of actresses, but then again I didn't get that impression from anybody on that show so it could be down to the direction and/or writing.

Her performance looks better in the trailers for The Boy, and she seems like a sweetheart in real life, so I'm glad she got this role, and hope it gives her a chance to prove herself and get more opportunities.

So Batfleck has a hot mom. Let's see if she actually talks this time. (looking at you Nolan!)

Uh, she did talk in BB.

When Thomas takes Bruce home after his fall in the well (background chatter but you could still hear her) and after they left the opera theater. Burton's Martha is the one that didn't utter a single word from what I remember.

Still want more than that though. :p

I think she'll have a bigger role than other continuities because of Martha Kent.

Well, it can't be that big on account of her being a deceased character in the present. I know Snyder loves his flashback sequences, but there's only so many you can have per film.

Neither one of them talked in Burton's movie.
