G2000 is actually one of my favorites, might be nostalgia since it's currently the only real Godzilla movie I ever got to see in theaters...until this may that is.

Godzilla 2000 was the first proper Godzilla film I ever saw in theaters. Won't mention 98 because...you know. :o

I must admit.......the Mothra fairies kind of creeped me out when I was a kid.

Is anybody reading that ongoing Godzilla comic series? Is it any good? And how was the series that ran for 12 issues ending in 2012?

The current ongoing, Rulers of Earth is pretty fun. Every other issue is just pure monster brawl. And there are some really fun and unique fights presented. Along with IDW just going crazy with all the new monster licenses they have now. They even got to design the medallions for the Gargauntuas.

Even with the semi-realistic take Edwards is going for, I don't see King Ghidora being too much of a stretch. Once you accept atomic breath spewing mutated dinosaurs, and what ever the MUTOs are, a space monster isn't too much of a stretch. Not asking for any alien races, just Ghidora arriving from space.

You loved them and thought they were adorable like Disney Princesses. :o

I must admit, I saw Godzilla 2000 in the theater and I was disappointed. lol

It's because you didn't understand it. It was too complex and cool.

:o

There better be a scene where Godzilla says to Bryan Cranston "I Am The Destroyer Of Worlds". :p

"Yo, I'm The Destroyer of Worlds *****!"

Danny Trejo should do motion capture for the next Gamera movie(if there ever is one). If you know what I mean. ;)

Remember gamera the brave where one of the central conflicts of the movie was to keep the baby gamera from blowing itself the f*** up? Lol. It was cheesy but I actually really enjoyed that movie. Beautifully filmed.

Haha oh yeah I remember that. I really wish there was another Gamera movie being made. :(

Seriously, I may get flamed for this, but honestly, and I say this as someone who was raised on Godzilla movies and love the franchise, I have to admit that the 90s gamera movies are simply better made films than about 95% of the Godzilla movies. Godzilla may be more famous but gamera, at least in the 90s, really took itself seriously and elevated the genre to something beyond guilty pleasure movies.

Ah 90s Gamera. I thought you were gonna say something like Gamera vs Zigra. :p But my favorite Gamera film might be Gamera: Guradian of The Universe. Great Kaiju film all around.
