I think in this case they are talking about people's reactions, not "logistics of the biology of a giant aquatic dinosaur."

Yeah, its the same as what they're doing with Superman and Spiderman. It's not make everything realistic, its make the world feel real so when all these fantastical things happen. They're even more extraordinary
