Lethal Weapon Reboot Series in the Works at WBTV and FOX

I'm thinking about watching the show. Was a little hesitant because I love the films, but I've heard good things about it.

Big surprise indeed although I am not as surprised it got renewed. It's rare to get a show like this and it not suck.

Let's for Riggs new look for season 2 to look this than the current one.

Wow was not expecting to see such raving reviews of this show, I thought it looked some BS. Might have to check this out now that I see people are enjoying it.

I don't think anyone expected this to be decent let alone good.

Yeah I never expected it, but I love this show. Very happy about this.

I think Clayne Crawford has been a big reason it's worked so well, he's brought a lot to Riggs but they've captured the dynamic with him and Rog well and made the Murtaugh family a likable part of the weekly shennanigans.

Clayne Crawford is truly an underrated amazing actor. I heard great things about him in Rectify tv show (which I haven't seen yet). And I like him a lot in Spectral. I first saw him as Mr. Quinn in Leverage and he has the gravitas as an actor and reminds me a lot of Heath Ledger + Jack Black hybrid :awesome:

Well, I finally got to watching this and I'm only three episodes in but... I really, really like it!

Riggs, Murtaugh, Trish, hell everyone is great. Looking forward to binging on the rest of the season now before the finale next week!

loved Quinn and I enjoy this show a lot more than I expected to

also love Thomas Lennon as Leo Getz

This weeks ep was another good one, I like the dynamic between Riggs and Palmer, it's obviously the shows version of Riggs and Lorna from the movies, but with enough of it's own chemistry.

I wonder if Riggs will get at least some answers over his wife's death in the season finale.

I am really kicking myself for sleeping on this show. It's very well done.

Amazing finale!

Season 2 wish list, the departure of Riggs' puppy stache!

The season finale was great, Riggs got a lot of answers and has a new focus heading into season 2. I had a feeling Dad wasn't on the up and up but the extent of his betrayal was unexpected.

Trish must be the most understanding wife of all time! I loved the scene where she told Riggs he was family, his reaction to that was palpable, you could see he was conflicted over what his next move should be.

The stuff with Riggs and Murtaugh getting tortured at the warehouse before turning the tables was classic buddy cop stuff and a nice riff on the similar sequence in the first movie.

Next season will kick off with a bang down in Mexico, hope it's a 2 parter.

Oh was that the season finale? The season was only 18 episodes? I guess it felt like a finale now I think about it. It was certainly action packed and a good episode, and Riggs managed to get some answers. I am hoping Hilarie Burton becomes a regular next season. Would even be good if she showed up in Mexico to help them out as the two of them are outgunned.

That was a decent finale given they were renewed for a second season, otherwise it would have been a terrible way to end it.

I wonder if we will get any South African or Chinese villains for any future seasons

That's a very obscure request.

I doubt we will. South Africa arpatheid is a distant memory now and China is too important a market to offend.

So season 2 began this week. But Riggs caught Tito the drug lord pretty quickly and he was killed off shortly afterwards. It was all resolved swiftly. I thought there would be a couple of episodes in Mexico. I guess they wanted to move on with this as quickly as possible, but also leave us with a cliffhanger last season.

'Lethal Weapon' Star Clayne Crawford Out as Producers Scramble to Recast

Fox and producers are scrambling to save Lethal Weapon.

Multiple sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that troubled star Clayne Crawford has been fired from the Fox procedural as studio Warner Bros. Television has been scrambling to find an actor to replace him.

Sources say the multiple actors have had the offer to take over the role for a potential third-season and have passed as the process continues ahead of Fox's upfront presentation to Madison Avenue ad buyers Monday. Fox and WBTV declined comment.

Crawford has come under fire of late for his bad behavior on the set of the Damon Wayans drama. The actor recently apologized for two incidents for which he was reprimanded during the sophomore season.

Good luck with that.

They gonna replace him with his even wilder and crazier younger sister. ''If you think Martin was crazy, just wait until you meet his sister, coming this fall, crazy runs in the family'' :o
