it is strange seeing cena lose so frequently
i'm sure its building to something though

I have no doubt he is very talented for a big man, my issue is that he's been unable to get over with the crowd and squashing two guys who'll be released soon didn't help.
I'm sure beating Cena will boost him very high. The crowd will now perceive him as a major threat, like they should. The crowd wouldn't treat Andre the ****ing Giant like a threat if all he did was squash NXT-ers.

Booking is such an easy excuse.

It's Albert - he'll be fighting an uphill battle for years and years and years of utter sucktitude. Everytime I see "Lord Tensai", this is the first thing that comes to my mind:

[YT]vjx2gxK_9Tg[/YT]

That's not good, Tensai.

Booking isn't an excuse, it's the very fabric wrestling is built on.

We'll see what happens next week.

Who else is hoping Chris Jericho: Liquor Enthusiast continues for a while?

I hope Jericho stays longer. No idea what is going to happen but this might be his last feud for awhile.

To all the doubters of Tensai, the guy is a very good big man. He showed it in his match with Cena tonight. I'm sure working with Punk down the line will make both of them look like a million bucks.

I'm watching now but decided to start with Tensai's match. I think he looked good and a win over Cena will definitely help. I wasn't overly impressed with his skills but could see him being a success with the right program.

You have to remember a good share of the crowd is going to have no idea what the hell XFactor was. Also the live fans who remember his first stint chant his name in support.
I thought they were just being smart-asses.

It is, but it's also thrown out as an excuse for guys who just suck.

Case in point: Lord Albert.

You think he sucks, we get it, doesn't mean anyone here has to agree with you, your point here is moot because you're trying to pass your opinion off as fact.

He's had 3 matches so far, tonight I don't think he was booked as well as he could have been, but anyone who follows wrestling beyond Monday night knows how far he developed in Japan and knows jumping to conclusions is daft.

I knew they'd push the Tensai character fast But I didn't think it'd be this fast with the Cena stuff,I loved it and not just got Cena got beat yet again But because I'm really into the character with his old-school look&feel,I've said it many times before that Matt Bloom improved big-time in Japan and he's proven it already with these 3 matches and he already wasn't that bad as Prince Albert or A-Train IMO!!!

I really enjoyed the kickoff match to Raw and the London crowd throughout the match. Also liked Brock's interview and Daniel Bryan's reason for renaming the Labell lock :funny:

Ryder's match with Kane felt like a wasted opportunity.

Also the segments with Truth and Hornswoggle absolutely sucked. Truth is no longer interesting as a face and Hornswoggle isn't slightly amusing. They won't fire the guy but man I wish they would.

yet people still crap on the man

loses to miz at mania drops title cleanly to punk and has'nt been champ since july of 2011 and loses to rocky at mania with a full year build up

i respect the hell out of john cena, i don't get the hate for him personally

It's more that his character is stale. For the most part he has come out week after week saying the same stuff. It was only during the whole Rock feud he started reverting back to his old self.

I think most people here respect John Cena , it's more disdain for his stale character. We all know he is capable of much better and personally I just want to see him more aggressive in nature.

So in my Promotion Wars file, I've been jobbing out Kevin Nash to my upper card workers when I need them to get a win. Unfortunately, guys like Sheamus and Mark Henry have been used for upper card fodder as well.

Well apparently, Kevin Nash didn't like it much, as I got notice in my game that Nash was making rounds on talk shows publicly bashing the company. So I decided to use that to my advantage, and I ended up putting Kevin Nash in a feud with Vince McMahon. The 2 had a match at Elimination Chamber, in which Kevin Nash beat McMahon after Jackknife Powerbombing him.

I also turned Sheamus heel, and put he and Mark Henry in a stable with Kevin Nash. The morale of both of these guys was down after being used as upper card jobbers, so after I put them together, I've had them going on a tear throughout the upper card ever since.

In other Elimination Chamber news, CM Punk successfully defended his WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber against Alberto Del Rio, John Cena, Triple H, The Miz, and Daniel Bryan. He'll face Royal Rumble winner Chris Jericho in the main event at Wrestlemania where he'll defend his title. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep the belt on Punk yet, or give it to Jericho.

Christian fought Zack Ryder for the United States Championship, and Ryder retained. Cody Rhodes also retained his Intercontinental Championship against newly resigned John Morrison. Kharma defeated Beth Phoenix for the Divas' Championship, and Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger successfully defended their Tag Team Championships against Air Boom in a TLC match.

The Undertaker also recently returned from injury, and Randy Orton turned heel to feud with him. Should the feud get some longevity, the plan is for Orton to face Undertaker at Wrestlemania for the streak.

Nell, please keep in mind that gimmick changes and booking can overshadow a wrestler's former character.

Umaga--God rest his soul--was originally Jamal from the tag team Three-Minute Warning.

The Rock was originally a blue chipper named Rocky Mavia, who at one point walked around with a fannie pack.

Triple H...Blue Blood Hunter Hearst Hemsley, anyone?

That's the perfect comparison of DC/WWE.

Of course I saw R-Truth as Cena's Toyman last year.

Wow. :funny:

No, the booking made him look weak, his time in Japan turned him into a very good worker.

I hope it shows soon. I was more impressed by Umaga when he came back after being in Japan. Same with Tyson Tomko.

Tensai will be back in Japan by the end of the Summer.

I hope not, but if the crowd doesn't start responding, it'll happen.

So does that make Zack into Jimmy Olson or Connor?

Jimmy Olsen's such an apt comparison.

And I call Eve as his Maxima. :D

i respect the hell out of john cena, i don't get the hate for him personally

Years of being on top, a stale character. Even though his character has started to lose more, and has done a fair share of it in the last year.

Also interesting that Taker's feud with Kane will be his last one that isn't centered on Mania.

The fact that Kane won the re-feud from start to finish was freaking awesome!

Also, based on the stipulation, looks like Cena is taking the pin at Extreme Rules.

Brock HAS to win this one for the storyline to work. Cena must be TOTALLY destroyed in the first match, crushed under Brock's heel.

I'm not so sure.

- Lost to The Rock clean at Wrestlemania 28

- Got his ass handed to him by Lesnar two weeks in a row

- Just lost to A-Train

I'm supporting Lesnar of course, but I'd be shocked if Cena lost again.

Cena's on fire! I wish the Dr of Thuganomics was facing Brock Lesnar, though. That would be BRILLIANT!

We had that in 2003 heading to Backlash, it was brilliant!

Has Kofi ever won with the S.O.S.?

He beat Drew McIntyre to win the Intercontinental Championship at Over The Limit a few years ago in a very good opener.

It's freaking Prince Albert, and he sucks.

I once had the same opinion until I saw his match against Nagata. It's arguably A-Train's best match.

Blue Blood Hunter Hearst Hemsley, anyone?

The Connecticut Blueblood > The Game. I'm serious!

He said he would bring class and civility to the WWF and I loved every minute of him being an arrogant sob before he turned into a degenerate.

Hi all!

I just wanted to post a link to show you all my idea for a new WWE logo. Have a look and tell me what you think. There are some pics to show what it would be like on the microphones, ring aprons and turnbuckles also.

That "interview" with Lesnar last night was awesome. That added greatly into making me want to pay to see this match. It gave it such a big fight feel and I wish WWE would do stuff similar to that more often with their feuds.

Pub food's the ****, don't you know that Y2J?
Jericho has never heard of gastropubs :cwink:

I'm talking more about the fact that they are putting Tensai in main event matches against John Cena, and talking about feuding him with CM Punk.

It's freaking Prince Albert, and he sucks.
Albert is even worst as Lord Tensai. Atleast he was a mildly entertaining midcarder back in the day now his just meh.

It made me laugh when Tensai did a kung fu noise and the crowd gave him no response.

Cena fans complain about him jobbing to The Rock but jobbing to Albert has got to be the worst yet.

@kal-el1990, I like the design.

I hope it shows soon. I was more impressed by Umaga when he came back after being in Japan. Same with Tyson Tomko.

I agree, I wonder if he is being asked to work the gimmick into his matches so much that it's taking him time to adjust as he never gave it a test run before coming back onto TV.

I thought Triple H played that gimmick well but Sage's point was it was never over enough to make him a top guy.

Ambrose responds to Foley's blog:
I never actually insulted Mick's dumb/blind wife or his traumatized ignorant children who think he's a good person. #lostgeneration
Also, I'm highly annoyed that this week's FCW is not online yet.

I really wish Ambrose will debut already. I have a feeling he's going to be a big star in the WWE

This Ambrose/Foiey thing is the shootiest angle I've seen, I wonder when it's going to get to TV, I mean right now they aren't even mentioning it on Raw and SD.
