I can only imagine how many people were sold on Extreme Rules after that Lesnar interview.

Re: Undertaker's WM DVD / Blu-Ray

Kind of funny looking at Undertaker's streak and his threats:

Giant Gonzales - As a little kid, I was thinking to myself "OMG, this guy is freaking huge! How is Undertaker going to beat this guy?!!"

Diesel - This is when The Streak became a big deal as Nash was a former WWF Champion.

Sid - Definitely a threat as he had beaten Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart back to back.

Kane - Was undefeated heading into Boston and had the poetic notion if anybody could beat Undertaker at WM, it'd be his brother.

Triple H - I knew Undertaker was winning, but Helsmley defeating Austin the month prior definitely gave him some credibility. The final encounter in Miami though was the best example of "All Or Nothing" storytelling as Undertaker was the underdog heading into the match.

The Big Show & A-Train - The match turning into a handicapped one raised the stakes and was nail biting to watch.

Randy Orton - If anybody should've ended the Streak, it was this man.

Batista - The last true challenge to the Streak IMO as nobody had been able to defeat Dave for the title. This is my favorite Undertaker WM match with Edge being a close second.

Shawn Michaels - The The greatest battle though as The Dead Man had never defeated HBK before plus it was fantastic that The Undertaker was having his mind toyed with by his opponent for a change.

Mmmm I like Sofia!

As for Lors Tensai/Prince Albert/A-Train in his current get up every time I see him come down the aisle, I just think of The Sultan.

As for the Cena/Superman WWE/DC comparison

Where does HBK fit on the list? he was one of Cenas best opponents.

This Ambrose/Foiey thing is the shootiest angle I've seen, I wonder when it's going to get to TV, I mean right now they aren't even mentioning it on Raw and SD.

Foley's blog really had me wondering if Foley was legit.

Both guys are GOOD, and its only been a war of words on the internet.

Randy Orton - If anybody should've ended the Streak, it was this man.

Orton's match is also significant because, as I recall, he was the first opponent to make the streak a real tangible thing that wrestlers would then strive to break.

Brainiac?

That'll work. Does that make Triple H Zod?

edit

Despite their squah last night, I woul;d have loved to see the Colons vs Londrick

The tag division could have been legit

The Colons
Hart Dynasty
Londrick
The Usos
Miz/Truth
Gabriel and Slater
Hawkins and Reks

Some good matches could have come from that,

The closest analogy is either Captain Atom or Draaga.

Crime Tyme was another good one.

I was thinking Triple H for Zod, but Mongul feels more appropriate.

Oh yeah, someone who was at the show last night told me Ambrose got pretty heat in his dark match. He cut a promo on the way to the ring in which he said he was the real hardcore legend.

Also good, but I have reserved the Big Red Cheese's place for The Rock in my mind. :woot:

Which would make Sheamus into Lobo. But I think Lobo isn't as pale. :woot:

And The Miz is Mxyzptlk, the TAS version.

That's why Miz has been virtually invisible recently; he must have said his name backwards.

I really enjoyed Brock's interview. Just Brock being Brock; I wouldn't wamt to meet him in person though. Guy is a jerk.

I disagree. If anything, Cena is the Captain Marvel to Rock's Superman.

And Orton is more Cena's Batman than Punk is, IMO.

Mick's comments come off like a real shoot, talking about not trusting him to work with him and not feeling he deserves putting over, it's like a worked shoot within a worked shoot.

Yeah, that was ~Taker's first Mania match where the streak was the angle for the match.

I can't lie, I will miss the Bellas.

Me too, sexy and a reasonable double heel act in the right situations.

Miz/Truth /QUOTE]

Awesome Truth is where they dropped the ball, they were very over and could have made decent high profile tag team champions, instead they split them and Truth has slid down the card since the face turn.

You're right. :D

And The Miz is Mxyzptlk, the TAS version.

Genius! :funny:

Orton's much closer to Batman than Punk. Whoever said Punk is Deadpool was right on.
