Lighting Fast Marvel Toruny!!!

I like Cap, but he gets too much respect. Scarlet Spidey is many times stronger, many times faster, far more agile, and has better weapons. I know Cap has beaten people who are a lot more powerful than him, but with all those advantages? The speed thing in particular should kill him -- it doesn't matter how skilled you are if your opponent doesn't give you time to execute a move.

In an actual comic, I'm sure the writers would find some implausible way for Cap to win. But if you're asking me what's reasonable?

Spidey wins. Whether Scarlet or the original.

Out of curiosity, where would Onslaught, apoc, hulk, and classic juggernaut go on your list?
I'd put Juggernaut just under Thor -- he's more powerful physically, but Thor can always do things like teleport him away (as he did in at least one of their fights). That counts as a win in my book. Plus, Thor has the ability to cancel out Juggernaut's magical enchantments (as he did in another of their fights.)

Whether Juggernaut should really be ahead of X-Man, I don't know. He is weak against telepathy, but only once you get his helmet and skullcap off. Nate could probably do this eventually, but before burning himself out trying to fight Juggernaut physically? I don't know, Nate always had difficulty with Holocaust, and I'd say classic Juggernaut is more powerful.

I'd put Hulk maybe just a hair below Juggernaut. He's potentially stronger, but not quite as indestructible. But they could probably fight for days if the writer was being reasonable about it. Hulk's stronger than Thor, too, but if Thor uses the full range of powers at his disposal (instead of just being stupid and fighting him hand to hand) he should win.

Apocaylpse I'd probably put below Hulk or Juggernaut in a no-prep fight. He has all kinds of Celestial tech that could give him the advantage with prep, but without it I'm not sure he could hurt those guys. And I'd say they're a least a bit stronger. Still, Apocalypse's powers are more versatile, so it'd be an interesting fight. At any rate, I put Apocalypse ahead of X-Man (pre-Shaman) . . . like I said, Holocaust gave Nate a challenge, and I never thought he was as powerful as his dad.

Onslaught is the hardest to place, because he could do whatever the story called for, even if it made no sense. (E.g., ripping the Cytorrak ruby out of Juggernaut's chest. Before that story, the ruby was never inside him to begin with -- he once threw it into space -- and he didn't need to be touching the ruby to maintain his powers. Plus, penetrating Juggernaut's chest was utterly impossible.) Anyway, once Onslaught absorbed Nate Grey and Franklin Richards into himself, he was a full fledged reality warper, so I'd put him below Dark Phoenix or Thanos with the Gauntlet, but ahead of everyone else. Not sure if he had more raw power than Tyrant, but he was able to use it in more varied ways. And presumably he had to be stronger than Dr. Strange, or you'd think Strange would have just taken him out and spared the other heroes the trouble.

I'm well aware where that list came from and I was specifically looking for a response from Xfan about his list. But I do appreciate your insight, Bah Humbug.

Sounds good, just making sure you understood that

I agree but Spidey or the Scarlet wouldn't be taking on a normal human or even an extremely well conditioned one, they would be taking on peak human ability. (which I don't really like) But anyway, Spidey is supossed to be around 15 times faster than a normal human.

Not sure what that tells us about how much faster he is than cap. But I think it's safe to say Cap is at least 2-3 times faster than a normal human if not faster. But even if Cap is 5 times faster than a normal human Spidery is still 3 times faster than Cap is.

Speed is a killer, no matter who is fighting whom. But I am not sure Spidery has that much of a speed advantage over Cap. Maybe he does maybe he doesn't. He certainly has a massive strength advantage over him somewhere around 50 times.

But if Cap is supossed to be near the top of the food chain in terms of fighting ability I just can't see Spidey or Scarlet spider beating him.

Actually, yes, yes I can. I change my vote. Scarlet wins, if not by a knock out win, he ceratinly could pin Steve's ass down my webbing him up, same with Wolverine.

As good as Cap is, I think that Scarlet Spider would win due to speed.

Final count 5-4. Captain America wins.

VS.

Morg

Maestro

Just wanted to define what I was saying, if Morg has cosmic powers that he could use to drain Maestro then he could pull the win, but otherwise, the maestro would be very tough opposition and may take it.

I dont really know either of them soo... i dont know if im voting...anybody got bios on them???

Physically the Maestro is an older version of the Hulk and sports a long gray beard with long gray hair along the sides and the back but is completely bald on top of his head. He possesses even greater physical abilities than his present-day counterpart, and is not hampered by any moral or ethical considerations. The Maestro's body absorbed the radiation left over in Earth's atmosphere and the base level of his strength has been increased to a level far surpassing that of the present-day Hulk. He is thus able to do some serious damage to the Hulk in a fight, particularly since he has over a century of experience in unarmed combat that the Hulk lacks. The Incredible Hulk, however, appears to still be able to achieve greater rage than the Maestro.

From what i read about Morg...i got to vote for him...he seems clearly like the better of the 2

Morg should be able to drain Maestro of his powers, and game over.

I give this one to Morg but the Final tally is still in favor of Maestro 4-3. Maestro wins.
