Sentry; He's been called the most powerful person in the universe many times by many people including Reed Richards. Also the fact that they only explain his powers as a Hundred (or Thousand?) exploding Suns - Something that vague is probably able to do anything. An if Sentry can't beat SS then the Void will, and the Void IS Sentry. Lol

A Thousand Exploding suns could probably take out quite a huge chunk of the Galaxy btw. Imagine what a person with that power could do - Besides hasn't Spidey hurt SS in the past?

Hurt him? Not sure but I do know what you're talking about, but the Hulk has also been choked out by a snake and the list goes on of ridiculous events that have occured to poor writing.

But even though the Senry's powers are equal to a thousand or a million exploding stars, the Silver Surfer draws his power from the entire universe. I think he just isn't shown to be so Godly powerful in comics because he is more of a second tier character and doesn't have the appeal of a Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Wolverine.

Silver Surfer is considered by many comic fans to be the most powerful being that is non cosmic, except for maybe Strange since Magic pretty much trumps all.

We've never really seen the full extent of the Surfer's powers. Sure he wen't against Thanos with the Infinity Guantlet but that tells us nothing since he was facing omnipotence. Plus from what I have gathered over the years, Galactus seems to favor Chrome Dome above all his other hearlds, although he never admits it, it is implied here and there. So he surely is the most powerful of them all.
