Things are about to get pretty crazy with my Anderton and McFly posts.

I'd ask you not to skip any and if something confuses you ask about it here.

Because I am about to demonstrate why time travel MUST be approved with a gm.

Specifically, they'll move the plot forward, then back ward, then forward, then backwards once more, then, lastly, a little ahead of where it is now.

When traveling through time in this rpg, there are 3 lines of text required required at the top and bottom of your post.

For each post that your character is in another time frame, or preparing to enter one, the header and footer must be included. Use of the header and footer will be discontinued after your character returns to the present. This rule does not apply to characters who are making the journey to the in-game realm, however. It only applies to characters traveling through time in the in-game realm.

The first line of text indicates two things: The first is the year and date that your post occurs in. The second will be contained in parentheses. The parenthetical notation will indicate whether or not your character is aware of the fact they're in the new, movie universe, signified by (AWARE), if you character has merged with the new universe and doesn't know it yet, signified with (unaware), or if they are NOT in the new universe yet, as signified by (NOT JUMPED).

The second line of text will be a time of day. The time must not be as exact as mine. For example, "Noonish" is acceptable. However, it must be specific enough to denote a perception of time. "Night" will not be acceptable. "Night" could be changed to "Dinner time," "early morning," or "just after/before midnight."

The final line of text will indicate the location your character is in at the beginning of the post. The same temporal rules apply here, only they are spatial. "The sky." Is not acceptable. This location could be changed to "the skies above the mid-united states."

THESE LINES OF TEXT MUST BE COPIED FROM THE TOP OF, PASTED ONTO THE BOTTOM OF, AND EDITED TO SUIT THE CONTENTS OF YOUR POST.

If time travel does not occur, the header does not differ from the footer greatly, or the events in your post will not directly lead to time travel, the header and footer are not needed.


Before traveling through time in the game, the Game master (myself), or my game manager (kaboom), must approve it through the Hype's! private message system.

Should you request time travel you must have:

• A legitimate reason for the time travel to occur. It CANNOT be a whim. This must be crucial to the story of your character. For example, Marty McFly is about to inadvertently travel through time because he is attempting to escape from the Lybians and has yet to disable the Time Circuits.
• A story-line planned, literally, down to the minute. If you do not have a step-by-step plot written explaining the time traveled to, events occurring there, journey back to the present, and the ramifications of those actions, the time travel will not be permitted.
• Permission to engage in time travel from ANY character the time-travel will affect. This includes people in the destination time, current time, or end-of-arc time. After you contact a game administrator and present the 2 above reasons to us, and the clearance from the other users, your time travel will be cleared.

If your request meets all three of these requirements, it will be granted.

i dont think people are understanding. characters are NOT getting plucked from their movies. Instead, entire universes are folding in to this so that they co-exist.

Well, after much thought, and starting posts only to scrap them and start again, I'm gonna drop Indy. I love the character to death, but I just can't get a feel for him in the game. Instead, I'm going to add someone to help beef up another story...

Wait a minute, Neo's world wouldn't be able to merge with the one in the game (otherwise, we'd either all be in the Matrix, or in Zion). So this is how I have decided to merge the Matrix with the world in the game:

I was thinking about having Neo jack into the Matrix at the exact same time that Marty McFly traveled through time. When Marty time-traveled, it interfered with the Matrix's programming (I haven't really decided how, but I'm sure I'll think of something later, as i don't really have to worry about that now). When the time-travel took place, the Matrix temporarily shut down. This would have killed evryone trying to jack into the Matrix, but since Neo is "The One", he gets transported through time as well. back to the past where the game takes place. But if Spideyssuperfan has something else in mind, I need to hear it so I can continue with my neo posts. Also, I wanted to know if there were copies of the film's our characters have appeared in, in the world where the game takes place.

The six teens sitting at the center table of the Angel Grove Community Center food court had been a common sight for the past several years. Five of them had been best friends since childhood, and though bonds like that were hard to break or add on to, Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Zack, and Trini had welcomed Tommy with open arms…after a brief, rather tumultuous misunderstanding.

They not only shared the bond of friendship, but they were also a team, protectors of the world, and the very universe itself. The latter five had been handpicked by Zordon to be his new group of warriors for the modern era, his Power Rangers. Later on, Tommy was also bestowed with the power of a Ranger, albeit a ranger twisted by the evil masterminding of Rita Repulsa. In the end though, he was able to see the error of his ways and joined the other Rangers in their never-ending battle. Even after his original power coin rejected him and he was stripped of his powers, Tommy came back to don the Power of the White Ranger.

And when they weren’t out saving the world, they could often be found at the community center, enjoying each other’s company and Ernie’s fine culinary skills.

Tommy sat in his usual fashion, chair turned around backwards with one arm draped lovingly across Kimberly’s shoulder. Billy and Zack shared a laugh about some mishap in chemistry earlier that week, Trini checked over the dessert menu, and Jason finished off an order of cheese fries.

And, as also happened so often, the scene was interrupted by the beeping of the communicators each Ranger wore on his or her wrist. The six stood up, each throwing their part of the bill on the table before exiting the dining area. As soon as they were sure nobody was watching or listening, Tommy activated his communicator.

[BLACKOUT]“Go ahead, Alpha.”[/BLACKOUT]

“Rangers, Zordon needs you at the Command Center immediately.” The hyper-active robot squelched over the comm.

[BLACKOUT]“Well be right there.”[/BLACKOUT]

Hitting a second button on the communicators, the six teens disappeared in mutli-colored flashes of light, materializing seconds later several miles away inside the confines of the Command Center.

“Rangers, you must hurry. The universe may be in grave danger.”

“What’s up, Zordon?”

“A short time ago, a powerful wizard known as Lord Voldemort used his power of sorcery to cross over into our dimension. The resulting rift has rippled across countless universes and dimensions, sending them converging into one plane of existence. Such a convergence is sure to cause great panic and pose a risk to innocent people, as well as the possibility that the collision may cause a dimensional overload resulting in the very collapse of time and space itself. You must confront Voldemort and ensure the universe stability.”

“Where is this Lord Voldemort.”

“He is on his way here. I believe he means to use the power coins and the Zords for his own means.”

“Aye-yi-yi-yi-yi,” Alpha squealed.

“Well, guys…”
