The Dark Knight Likes And Dislikes

Wait...what? How did you get that it wasn't as dark as BB? It seems just as dark if not more then BB did from the trailers.

he explained why. umm, I know he's jumping to conclusions but it's based on the trailers. Just his opinion.

Have a dislike..but it's not directly about the movie.

i have a slight dislike of people (no disrespect for them) putting an ABUNDANCE of screen caps from the trailers into the official picture no-discussion thread. talk about overkill, huh?

The only thing that still bugs me is Heath's long hair. I got over the painted versus permawhite thing a while ago, I like his clothes, I love his portrayal in terms of acting, it's just his hair. I'd rather it be like it look like it does in the jail shot than how it looks hanging down the rest of the movie.

It's nitpicky, I know.

I like the opposite. You can clearly see the hair loss on the first one. It kinda hurts actually....

I like the look of it more pushed back too.

The benefit of it being in his face of course, are the creepy mannerisms we get to see, like him "straighting himself up" for Rachel.

I prefer the latter. In fact, it's my favourite picture of the Joker thus far.

i lov the long hair, mostly because he has the same haircut as myself. :woot:

Another thing I quite dislike: the fact that the public already knows that Batman is a man. After two months, he's already lost his urban legend status and pretty much just become a crazy man in the cape. I mean, sure, the police should know he's a vigilante, but, as for the public, the question should still be "What is Batman", rather than "Who is Batman".

where do you find out that the public knows that he is human?

Yeah i agree. Its pretty apparent from the viral and some scenes from the trailers that people now know that its a man. For example when the joker asks batman to take off his mask and surrender in the mobile trailer.

But its a comic book movie. People can still think he is a vigilante and a monster at the same time. Need i mention Clark's glasses?
So i guess the superstitious thugs could still view him as a mutant (bitten by a radioactive bat) or a superhuman.

You can assume that based on the whole vigilante subplot where guys dress up as Batman and try to fight crime. Of course it doesn't 100% confirm that the public knows, but it is a pretty solid indicator.

anyone who thinks batman is a man-sized bat who can talk and fight crime has been shootin up scarecrows fear gas like its smack.

Me personally,I like every single thing I seen from the trailers to tv spots to the prologue,I LOVE IT ALL.
i couldn't agree more. I like that the only competition is "Mamma Mia".

Of course it's ridiculous, but that's the point of the Bat symbol. To play on the superstitions of the people. He's meant to be an urban legend to the public, not a man in a mask. Later on, yes, people will know he's a man, but this early in his career, he should be largely a mystery to the public.

And, I would imagine that, if rumors were spreading of a 6 foot tall bat creature gliding around New York city, I doubt your first thought would be of a man in a costume. It would probably be disbelief, or superstition.
