It does. Honestly Cone the more you post the more I just think you are over anxious. I do believe now that you are a "Begins Bopper" where you started to like Batman only after Begins, and you see that as the only definitive piece of how Batman should be made.
Because Begins though one of my favorite movies of all times, did have flaws, some small dialouge, Katie Holmes, horrible fighting cinematography, which later Wally admitted they did not plan to do, but did it because the fights did not have enough time to have Bale train for them. And most of all, it did lose some epic scope here and there.
All those things have been improved upon in TDK. You see it as flaws because you think Begins was the Holy Grail, but sorry to burst your bubble, it was not. Though one of the greatest of all times, it had flaws.
Some of the greatest sequels, that felt like sequels had different feels, T2, Aliens, both felt different from their originals but still felt like sequels, and rocked the house.
I mean even the LOTR movies, each had a different hue, and feel to one another, though the books were all one story, and connected. Jackson did that even on purpose.
Nolan has done nothing but up his game, and fix the flaws with Begins, so I would just say get use to it. To me, I think you really wanted a rated R gore fest with the Joker, and your upset to see his nutty side, which is key to his character. It seems a lot of Begins Boppers have this.
I'm just saying dude relax, your the only one I see freaking out, 99.9% of the people on here are stoked, and your getting anxious and nervous, where this is none to be had. I just say sit back and enjoy the ride.
