The Dark Knight Likes And Dislikes

I loved the voice I don't want everyone to alter their voice because all the charcters will start to sound too similar.

i like the voice i tihnk it was fine hence y i said y would he need 2 change his voice.

the voice will be the same its how he plays the 2 parts that will make or break Aaron
and well I believe in harvey Dent

Why would Dent's voice change?

Because an entire new personality emerges. A personality with a decidedly darker manner of speaking.

I agree. The thing I'm interested in, is whether it was Harvey or Two-Face speaking to the crooked cop in the bar in that new clip.

totally agree with you there...I really can't wait to see how they split the Harvey and Two-Face personalities!

yea in the animated series wernt his other personality called big bad harv or something? it would be great to have actual scenes similer to gollum in lord of the rings where hes talkin to himself but obviously not as comedic.

^ yea in the animated show he had an underlying personality called Big Bad Harv even before he became two-face. Two-face just unleashed big bad harv

I thought it was pretty clear that the "HellO" was from Dent and the "Half" was from Two-Face. In the first part his voice sounds like a hobbit, in the second it's all raspy.

This is just pure speculation on my part but I don't think harvey will have multiple personalities. I think Harey will start off like Batman with really strong ideals and he will fight for them but after he is burned he sees that the crooks can not be taken down through normal means or even through batman's means, I think harvey is going to be more similar to batman but the difference is he'll kill. This will create a really interesing situation between the two and we'll make harvey realistic. I think the multiple personality stuff is real cool for the comics but it will be better this way for film. He can still have the coin to make decisions he can still be burnt on one side but I think he'll just be two-face not harvey dent and two-face.

I dont like how TDK feels different from BB. I mean think about it! The fight scenes are different, the atmosphere changed, not gloomy as BB, the cinematography is alot different, blue tint replaced orange tint and etc. :csad:

Since a sequel is all about using its predecessor as a jumping point for new things and experimentation, this kind of difference is good to me. I don't enjoy formula rehashes to the maximum.

Well, I just want it to feel like a BB sequel and not all different

Ah, but what makes the deal good is that, to me, it doesn't feel vastly different. Think of elements that will add to that when you see the movie: The editting, the soundtrack, the acting of the recurring characters.

It feels like a progression but also pretty familiar to me, and not something radically different than, say, Die Hard 3 and Die Hard 4. Now, THESE were 2 completely different film. But TDK to BB is what Die Hard 3 was to Die Hard 1 & 2. Different, but familiar.

i fink dat da big problems wif dis films is dat its got da joker but pepole seem 2 4get dat TEH JOKER GOT KILLD IN DA FIRST BATMANS MOVIE so how can he b alive now its not make sense ne more also were dis robin in dis film and the last film coz they nevur gave ne ecxsplination y hes not in it ne more also its not got enuogh bad guys in it coz da best fing about batman forver and batman n robbin is dey had lots of bad guys but dis 1 only got 1 bad guy dat sucks about dis movie i dont fink i will enjoy dis 1 as much as other ones

Och, ur rait, ah deed fohget dat Butt u knoou wot, ah tink dat der's e time machin in TDK end ridler goz bak in time two chainge ze facts from de Burtonfilm.

Phew, just wanted to see what it's like and if it's fun to write in trollish. It's as I suspected: Dumb and not fun.

It does. Honestly Cone the more you post the more I just think you are over anxious. I do believe now that you are a "Begins Bopper" where you started to like Batman only after Begins, and you see that as the only definitive piece of how Batman should be made.

Because Begins though one of my favorite movies of all times, did have flaws, some small dialouge, Katie Holmes, horrible fighting cinematography, which later Wally admitted they did not plan to do, but did it because the fights did not have enough time to have Bale train for them. And most of all, it did lose some epic scope here and there.

All those things have been improved upon in TDK. You see it as flaws because you think Begins was the Holy Grail, but sorry to burst your bubble, it was not. Though one of the greatest of all times, it had flaws.

Some of the greatest sequels, that felt like sequels had different feels, T2, Aliens, both felt different from their originals but still felt like sequels, and rocked the house.

I mean even the LOTR movies, each had a different hue, and feel to one another, though the books were all one story, and connected. Jackson did that even on purpose.

Nolan has done nothing but up his game, and fix the flaws with Begins, so I would just say get use to it. To me, I think you really wanted a rated R gore fest with the Joker, and your upset to see his nutty side, which is key to his character. It seems a lot of Begins Boppers have this.

I'm just saying dude relax, your the only one I see freaking out, 99.9% of the people on here are stoked, and your getting anxious and nervous, where this is none to be had. I just say sit back and enjoy the ride.

While I might not dislike the things you're disliking here (I actually see all those things as improvements), I don't see why you think TDK will be less gloomy. Perhaps it won't be as gloomy in appearance (though I think BB was more gritty than gloomy), but the tone of the movie looks to be quite gloomy, from what we've seen.

So far I like -

Don't like:

Jokers make-up and outfit. It's been forever and it's yet to grow on me... I don't like the dirty grunge joker look at all personally.
And here I was beginning to think I was alone on this. Okay, Joker is detained at the precinct. They have him under questioning. Gordon exclaims that this man has no ID/ we do not know who he is. Um, Jim. Why not begin with wiping off the dumb-ass looking make-up job. That would be a good start. Then after, go about looking for the "real Joker" whose make-up is part of his real face. We don't even get that unique "Joker Grin" that's always been a trademark stamp of the character. If one simply traces back to the silent movie starring Conrad Veidt, "The Man Who Laughs" (*the original inspiration for The Joker*) it's plain to see that original example of a Joker still holds up today and looks 100 percent better.

I've seen the past few of your posts, and you seem to be on the edge of trolling, be warned before I call in the mods. Clearly you like nothing of this movie, and I've seen you post before, lots have been banned for this kind of acting, so just be gone if this is what you intend.

EDIT: And before you go "I'm just speaking my opinion" amendment. I'm not saying you can't do that. Its just watch your tone. "dumb-ass looking make-up" with language such as that it is clear that you dont' want a civilized conversation, but wish to start a fight. And get people riled up. So please don't.

I guess your right, im just gonna have to adjust to these new changes. But I didnt wanted it to be rated R, just a really dark and gritty PG-13 film :word:
