As of right now, Beauty and The Beast isn’t expected to ding business for the testosterone films as much as originally thought: WB/Legendary’s Kong: Skull Island is expected to decline by 55% for $27.5M in its second outing, and 20th Century Fox’s Logan will slow by 40% in its third weekend for $22.9M.

I wish X-Men Apocalypse would have done better at the US Box Office. In the Foreign box office it did pretty well. It was the US box office that didn't appreciated X-Men Apocalypse very well.

Domestically Logan can surpass X-Men 1 which it has 157M, X-Men Origins Wolverine with 179M, and maybe X-Men 2 which has 214M.

I don't see Logan being able to surpass domestically X-Men Days of Future Past which has 233M, X-Men 3 with 234M.

And by now is impossible for Logan to bead Deadpool domestically which it has 363M

Logan has the best hold and legs in the franchise. I think it has a significant chance to surpass DOFP and X3 domestic totals. If not, it should come very close.

As for the worlwide total, it hasn't been released in Japan which is a big country for Wolverine movies. I think it has potential to surpass DOFP but I'm not sure about Deadpool. Small chance.

My prediction now:
22 weeks,
220-240 Domestic
725-755 Worlwide

It should be very close to DOFP numbers although DOFP had the pleasure of the PG-13 rating and the 3D. Ticket wise Logan should surpasss DOFP by a large margin.

After trackings underestimated Kong and took the #1 spot, I don't buy that Batb would open lower than its early projections.

I wouldn't call it uninspired. It's going to smash March opening weekend records. The thing is, all the big releases, Beauty, Kong and Logan, are doing well this weekend. Get Out is still chugging along and there's also Gunn's Belko Experiment pulling good numbers on a limited release. Bottom line, theaters are packing 'em in this weekend.

it's up so far to 468 Million WW.
