Yeah that's the year they give in this article. I'm kinda hoping they don't mention that in the movie though.

Interesting part is chances are for X23 to be part of X-force she needs to be a few more years older, so at the very least 16 right? a few more years have to go since I don't see a 12 year old girl being part of X-force

Unnaturally. If timeline is an issue, they can make her older faster than she would be to fit into an X-Force lineup without having it set too far into the future

Probably not as a main villain, just in the background, as he should be. Pierce and Transigen probably work for Essex Corp as their security in a reimagining of the Blackguard from the Adamantium Men and the Reavers.

I mean, Essex Corp stealing Weapon X blood samples makes it incredibly clear what they're gonna do, but I'm sure they didn't mean he was going to be the primary antagonist in the film and rather just a background villain, pulling the strings since he can be used for Scott, Jean, Cable etc.

Logan is set in 2024 while deadpool II is probally set in present day.and right now another X-Men film is up in the air.so sinister having plans for Cyclops and
jean remain to be seen.it defently sounds like from kinberg comments earlier this year they are thinking of sinister as a more overreaching villain.

X-23 is almost certinly the female wolverine singer nnetioned he pitched
fox on.it doesn't take a genus to think they likely are planning after logan to have X-23 fill wolverine's void In X-force which could also be a r rated film based on kinberg's comments.

If nothing else they could have sinister as villain of X-force.

Just set all upcoming films in the not so distant future, unless there's a must need for another prequel (looks at the box-office). They are gonna make it easier for everyone to follow these films if they are constantly going back and forth to the past and present.

And when it comes to X-23 I honestly don't see her having rapid aging because it seems like a desperate trick to age her quickly which I honestly doubt they are hung up enough to care if they have to skip another Few years

There's little need to cast someone the precise age as Laura. They can play her off as older or younger as necessary, and as Sienna grows older she'll have even more flexibility in terms of playing a teenaged character (if this is a long term role that is)

Yeah the confirmed actress is Sienna Novikov but I don't find any similarity between her and the girl on set at all.

This news really excites me. Donald Pierce is one of the creepiest X-Men villains in my eyes. He is not often used in the comic book but he had some very malicious moments throughout the comic book history (being part of the Hellfire Club during the Dark Phoenix Saga, founder of the Reavers, being part of the Purifiers etc.).

He resembles true hate of humans against mutants. Hope he will be a cyborg in "Logan" and the Reavers will be as creepy and dangerous as in the comicbooks.
