That was...absolutely terrific.

Got some good Last Of Us vibes out of that trailer.

What a moving trailer. I so am looking forward to this should be interesting.

That was absolutely fantastic.

I'm not quite as impressed as some of you, but I do really appreciate that it doesn't feel like a superhero movie. Seeing the eponymous title come up at the end after such a personal trailer made me feel confident in what they're doing. I'm still not as excited for Logan as I am for several other CBM's next year, but this one looks to be different, which certainly counts for something.

Hater :ninja:

No surprise there :o

I'll cry tears in cinema if movie is good as the trailer and this is final Wolverine movie with Hugh.

I wish we could get more superhero stories this intimate.

Hey, I noticed 2 things: the boy in white at the end (Daken? lol) and whoever Logan is fighting, he/she has 3 claws each hand.

Maybe I've been hanging around comic book forums and not movie forums necessarily, but I'm losing track of what people actually want out of an X-Men movie. Do we want the movies to be more superhero comic book-y or not? XD

I'm on board with this movie. I just want my X-Men movies to have pathos, and this movie looks like it will have that in spades.

pretty sure plot is wolverine trying to keep X-23 away from Essex corp.and Piece and reevers sent to get X-23 or get her back.

There is enough to suggest the wolverine-X-23 relationship will be key focus of film.

The soldiers from the Adamantium Men had three claws like Logan (they also glowed green lol) and they blended them with the Reavers so those are the claws you probably see. Fits with theme of cloning and genetic experimentation they got going.

Great trailer. Looks deeply humanistic as Mangold said, and that shot of Logan, Laura and Charles laughing together got to me for sure. Pretty sure the X-Men are fine though.

So the claws at the end clearly isn't laura. lady deathstrike?

I think it depends on the character and story bring told.

I want the X-men movies to have more of that flavor, but I don't think Wolverine needs to, particularly with this specific story.

As for me, I just want great movies, which have soul, have their own unique DNA and are director driven. Movies which can add a little something to the long list of comic book adaptations and don't feel like they were put together through several committee meetings. While, of course, retaining the heart and soul of the source material. That's what makes the best comic book adaptations stick out to me.

I don't need more of the same, which follows a popular template, and just switches the characters.

This seems like it's another special one, fortunately.

I can't stop watching. So amazing. Tears in my eyes. Gonna be a heart breaker.

Is it confirmed that this takes place 1 year after the end of Days of Future Past? I'm just failing to see how things could get so bad so fast. I guess we'll find out.

Nice trailer. Mangold knows his Johnny Cash.

I know this is such a small thing but I really hope they don't give X-23 claws like Wolverine's (3 in each arm). Stick to the 2 in each arm and one in each foot. I'm sure they will, but who knows, Fox does ruin things.

Why do I keep reading this stuff? :whatever:

And even if she had three claws on each arm, who tells you that it would be Fox ruining things, and not a specific decision from the director.

This ain't 2009 anymore, and Tom Rothman is long gone.

Me too bro, can't stop myself. So much heart in the trailer. Now it really hit me, this is probably the last time we see Wolverine and Prof. Xaviers. It's gonna be so emotionally heavy, I'm not ready for this. :csad:
Yeah I wasn't ready to be kicked right in the feels like that.

Too soon to talk Oscar worthy?
Yea, it's such an emotional experience... The Patrick Stewart's voice throughout the trailer...

The whole trailer is so perfectly put together. I like non-R trailer much more than the red band one, tbh, there's this particular feeling of fragility in it.
