Well 2024 isn't confirmed but since it was from the same article that gave out info that turned out to be true before the information was officially released I'd say we can't say it isn't 2024 either.

@Fandango

We only watched the 1st act of @WolverineMovie, but holy *** it's some of the best stuff we've ever seen from Wolverine. Absolutely terrific

@Fandango

And yes, @WolverineMovie embraces its R rating tenfold. The action is bloody, brutal & ridiculously badass. Be ready, #Wolverine fans!

Wow, sounds amazing! I guess we will get our next critical acclaimed Fox X-Men movie with Logan next year!

Fox is really hit or miss with the movies...

FOX/Marvel films sorta resemble Paramount's Star Trek releases. One up, one down.

It helps when kinberg isn't writing:woot:

when you have kinberg as writer you need to be at top of game as director as singer was on DOFP.even though i liked apocalypse i can say he droped ball
on APocalypse.

I've been messaging with one of the mods from the CHUD forums who was seen the film. He's been pretty tight lipped, but did he say a few things.

Spoiler tag just in case

"I liked the movie a bunch. The villains are pretty weak -- every time the movie cuts to them, I'd rather be with Logan, Charles, and Laura -- but everything else really measures up. I don't think you'll be disappointed."

"Pacing of the film is good. The cut I saw was about 135 minutes long. Had no complaints about the story or dialogue."

"I don't know what I'd compare the violence to. It's very Wolverine, just now there's blood and he stabs people through the head. I think it's probably my favorite X-Men movie (First Class and DOFP being my other favorites), and I'd put it in the upper tier of Marvel as well, although I admit I'm a little tired of the superhero format and make not be the best barometer for that."

"The third act is strong. The movie introduces a silly villain that threatens to pull another Silver Samurai (watch the green band trailer, think about who the silliest person Wolverine could fight in his final movie could be, and that's the guy), but luckily it doesn't. The movie stays small when it needs to."

sooo true! I really would love to know why Kinberg gets hired to write scripts. It is obviously not his biggest talent...:whatever:

Maybe he is really cheap and writes three scripts for the price of one? ;)

A bit more detailed write up of the first act shown yesterday. A bit spoiler-y so watch out.

Also Apoc was the first meh X-film in awhile. In general they've been doing well as of late and Logan looks to keep it going.

thank you for the link.

I'm still so in love with "Days of Future Past" that I overcome my disappointment for the mediocre X-Men:Apocalypse. I have a lot of trust that the next bunch of X movies - Logan, Deadpool 2 and especially NEW MUTANTS (What can possibly go wrong with a movie about campy demon bear ghost monster trying to kill a group of young mutants?) - will be equally fantastic.

Since X-23 replaced wolverine in comics after his death it's not surprising at all for her to be introduced her to fill void of franchise in future set films like say X-force.

another question for future of franchise is how well Cable and domino are done In Deadpool 2.

with new mutants at least i am more familar with characters and even storyline they seem to be basing than I was with deadpool who i only knew from his appearnces in X-force and wolverine.

If audences respond well to X-23 that will help their X-force plans.

Thanks for sharing the article! The stuff about X-23 sounds great... well ok, everything we've heard so far about this movie sounds great, but still.

I was terrified of girls when I was in middle school, and I’m pretty sure Dafne’s Laura would have had me quaking, even before [BLACKOUT]she busted out her Adamantium claws and tossed a man’s severed head in the general direction of a squad of remorseless soldiers[/BLACKOUT].
Damn. :wow:

It does! For some reason I was kinda expecting them to tone her down, but nope, they're actually making her as messed up as she should rightfully be.

Damn, it sounds insanely good. :hmr:

This movie is going to rip us all into tiny little shreds. I'm not sure if I should be excited or ****ing terrified. I'm so looking forward to this.

And I'm hopeful for Mangold's directing. The first movie I saw from him was Girl, Interrupted, which I really love. Another two movies - Yuma and Walk the Line - confident films too. The Wolverine felt like a producer piece, and while there were great moments in the first half, it spiraled into mediocrity in the second half. I hope this time Mangold was allowed to make his own thing start to finish.

I wonder what's in the backpack...

What is also worrisome... We read about all these awesome gory moments, but then they show it to some focus group, reshoot everything to hell and we get something watered-down mediocre nothing. Or it's my phobias after DCEU debacle... On the other hand, the release is near, so they have little time to change anything.

Mangold even mentioned yesterday that he wanted to "take the stench of cuteness off Laura", so I'm very glad with how he seems to be directing Dafne. Though Dafne is so adorable and her Laura will be such a badass that I think she might steal away Millie Bobby Brown's job opportunities or something.

Fox doesn't seem to be shying away from showing violence in their films when needed. Apocalypse was pretty violent for a PG-13 movie and they also made Deadpool so yeah. I feel like the violence will remain intact.

Kinberg has hinted if a full X-force film follows Deadpool III which introduces X-force it could be r rated too.so yes fox isn't shying away from vilolence.remember X-Men has been called one of most violent comics.back in day both X-Men 1990's animated show and X-Men evolution had some complaning they were too violent even though unlike comics noone died on show for most part.

It defently sounds like X-23 will be very violent despite being only 11.
