Honestly though, a Deadpool cameo seems completely out of tone with this film.

Yes, I could still see it as a post-credits scene. But at this point I don't care if he's in film or not; the twitter battle is extremely entertaining. Seems Mangold is fed up with.

it will be pretty funny if we will find out in March that Mr. Sinister is indeed the secret villain and Deadpool has a cameo...

Yep it was.

My take is mangold is protesting way too much.

Singer and kinberg said on apocalypse commantary sinister was in film and
Kinberg as producer of film would know.

Richard e grant's character might turn out to secretly be Sinister.and the reported deadpool cameo is suspose to be post credit scene shot by someone else.

Mangold is still raining hellfire down on Twitter, so it's probably not true, but he also tweets how Mayimbe got the date the film takes place in wrong as well. So at least we now know that 2024 isn't when Logan takes place.

I hope Umberto is wrong if for no other reason than his "scoop" is essentially a pretty big spoiler that ruins a surprise. It's been talked in here without spoiler code so everyone reading along has been spoiled too. I'm hoping any intended surprises haven't been spoiled.
