That girl looks like she's going to be the star of this film. This looks great. I will say though it seemed kinda weird the X-men story was turned into a comic book in the film universe itself.

Yeah the girl is gonna kill it. I don't like that the x-men "story" was turned into a comic in the film universe.

That is a mother****ing trailer. It is like they took the first two acts of The Wolverine, and went from there. And that is a great thing imo.

If this girl goes over well with people the question then becomes does she become the future for the X-men franchise? Would be kinda interesting to see a superhero story progress from childhood to adulthood.

Liked the trailer overall, but the X-men comic inclusion is pretty cringey. Plus it feels like a dick move that's how they include Wolverine's costume in the movies. It would have been better just not to feature it at all if it wasn't appropriate for the movie.

Yea, seems like there's finally a film that could achieve the TDK league. A non-flashy personal drama based on comic book characters. Man I hope there will be more comic book films like this.
Yes to all of this.

Something about X-23 comes across as effing scary. Like an even more mentally screwed version of Hit Girl.
She reminded me a lot of Eleven in the trailer as well.

I would absolutely love to see that. :)

X-23's baby claws look adorable.

There's a number of articles posted, but I don't even want to read them. I saw more than enough to convince me to watch this film and it's only a month away.

X23 will be back by popular demand. She will lose some shock value when she gets older, but will still be a scene stealer.

Is it really that shocking though?

I loved it! Loved the ending where Professor X actually cusses...this is going to be awesome.

Can someone explain to me the whole comic book thing?? What X23 is from a parallel universe where all of Marvel characters are part of comic books and not real? Or are they simply comic books inspired by...the "real" X-Men, as if they were real, as they obviously are real and exist in that universe. Um...what? So Wolverine has yellow spandex too and...what is this?

I just can't see that being in the film. I get the feeling it will be cut out. Unless there's some explanation. Don't get me wrong, I love that homage, and hope it stays in the cut but...I'm just curious. Does anyone know why? Can anyone explain it?

Having watched the extended cut of The Wolverine recently, it makes me wonder. Could be likely that part could be cut out?

So someone has died but...who? Logan saying he doesn't want to talk about it.

Why is X23 so aggressive?

I like seeing how Logan and Professor X have evolved their friendship and how Logan has grown and developed as a person.

The implication is that at this point in time the X-Men become so popular and celebrated as heroes that people made comics about them and made them out to be these larger than life figures.

I would assume the X-Men events were the inspiration for the comic books within the universe.

I have no doubt saying this will be the best cbm this year. So pumped. March is gonna be a great month for movies

perfection. they get 2 tickes from me only from the trailer. looks like a 10/10 movie.

X-Men being a comic book in the movie is abit meta and maybe that was the idea.

did xavier get money from merchandising? did he lose it all while gambling? ;p

just like hit girl. but to keep that effect long as possible, Fox will need to put good movies around her.

The question then becomes do they go immediately into making X-23 an adult in a follow up film or do they stick with the same actress and have the audience watch her grow up in a series of films.

I honestly wish this wasn't the ending. Preferably, I wanted to see Wolverine's story be concluded in a final X-Men movie taking place in the present and not in a prequel.

I liked DOFP despite taking place in the past most of the time, and Logan having bone claws and providing to be useless against the sentinels. I was hoping for at least a climax with the present X-Men in the future against the sentinels with Wolverine...but Jean Grey and Cyclops should have been there too.

X-Men 3 was such a piece of sh**, killing off your favorite characters is the worst way you can f**k up a movie. While the final battle may have been great, it would have been better with the entire team rather than just 6 of them. When Rogue and Scott should be there. It just felt incomplete. I wanted to see one final film with the whole team. X3 was made essentially just to kill off our favorite characters.

Seeing Logan as a history professor...I really would have liked to have seen that. Doesn't look like we'll be seeing that in this film though.

I feel like we deserved another X-Men movie with Wolverine and the original team members and seeing Wolverine and Deadpool team up before ending Wolverine's arc. Even though we did see Logan and Deadpool in a movie together, it doesn't really count because that movie was so bad, I almost forgot they were in a movie together.

But I am of course talking about the real Deadpool, the one that was rebooted in 2016, the comic book version/accurate version.

I couldn't resist and read the spoilers of that 40 minute preview they had a few weeks ago. I need to see this like yesterday!

only second makes sense.

I don't think anyone missed that. Problem is a meta self reference doesn't really compliment the serious tone the rest of the trailer or the previous trailer seems to be setting up for the movie. It's a goofy 'hey guys, X-men is a comic book, get it?.
