LOL was the "****!" a line the character Logan had to keep saying, or something Jackman said cause he lost patiance?A funny story between Hugh and Dafne from filming from the Empire article that was released today.Making a big impression in the film is the girl known only as Laura (Dafne Keen), aka X-23, seen in our exclusive pics with her claws out. In one intense scene, as Jackman recalled to us, Logan loses his temper at Laura. “I just yelled, ‘SHUT THE **** UP!’” Jackman says. “At the end of 40 minutes of this I went up to Maria, Dafne’s mum, and I said, ‘Maria, I’ve got an 11-year-old and I’m just really sorry.’ Maria said, ‘Aw, don’t worry, she just called you a ****. In Spanish.’”
Could be, the Joblo review of the footage said the four of them go on a road trip, but it's been edited for being too spoiler-y so I can't double check if I'm remembering right. Ah well, we'll see eventually I guess.I'm pretty sure the tracker is Caliban.
The hype is building up for me with the new cover and empire images. Side note does anyone else think x23 claws look a little small?
Why are you even trying to defend this stuff?
It's becoming pretty obvious from recent official comments that these are more like standalone director-driven movies than an interconnected series.
Mangold admitted these films are unco-ordinated, hence two Calibans, and then Jackman says Logan is not really in the same universe as the other films. We can see the X-Men now mythologised into some sort of comic book, although Mangold was then scrambling to point out on Twitter that Logan is just beyond the DoFP ending (in a hasty damage limitation exercise). As I predicted, the wonky timeline/continuity will be a thing for people to moan about beyond the intensity of fan forums like this.
There is no Feige figure holding it all together. Directors just do what they want.
On the positive side, this re-doing of already existing elements got us a perfect Deadpool and a better Emma Frost (though she was then killed off), and the new Caliban is more comic-accurate than the one in XM:A .
But let's not pretend there is any overall plan here, lol...
Hnnnnnnnnnnnngggg

Wasn't it all those psychics he had in the room who were gathering the information?
We saw no evidence he had any mutant power, though he did have weird eyes... The only thing I remember seeing was psychics who seemed to be 'scanning' for something...
So I've come across spoilers pertaining the third act. They seem pretty accurate with everything I've heard, but you never know.
The Transigen program has been creating clones of Logan to be used as living weapons, but they rapidly deteriorate after a couple of days. Dr. Zander Rice circumvents that problem by having Laura be gestated by one of the nurses at the complex. The plan works, but the nurse grows affectionate to Laura and escapes with her, hoping that Logan can escort them to a safe location. Donald Pierce and the Reavers are sent after her and kill her mother before Laura comes under Logan's and Xavier's protection.
Xavier was responsible for the near-extermination of the mutants, having lost control of his powers while telepathically connected to them through Cerebro. Logan was able to survive due to his healing factor. Rice simultaneously accidentally created a virus through his genetic experiments which caused mutant birth rates to significantly plummet to the point where Logan believes Caliban, Xavier and himself are the only ones left.
Rice ultimately sends X-24, an adult male clone of Logan, to assist Pierce. X-24 has a buzzcut, no beard and is played by a digitally de-aged Hugh Jackman, similarly to Michael Douglas in Ant-Man or Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man.
Xavier is killed in the third act, leading to a final battle between Logan and Laura against their pursuers. Logan sustains heavy damage fighting X-24. Over the course of the movie, Logan rediscovers his humanity and grows closer to Laura, who becomes his surrogate daughter. The movie ends with Logan alive, but severely injured and with the clear implication that due to his healing factor fading, he doesn't have much time to life, but will spend what's left of his days protecting Laura. The final scene features them driving off into the sunset.
While there are no direct references to previous movies, some of the dead X-Men are briefly mentioned in passing by Xavier and Logan, and Rice often reports to an unseen, unheard superior over the phone, who could be Mister Sinister.
Where did you get this?

Does this sound accurate to you? Didn't you have a friend who has seen it too.
If it's accurate then I won't have any problems. It doesn't sound especially out of line with the rest of the film, aesthetically or tonally.
I can totally see it being trueit means there is tie in to post credit scene in apocalypse and why singer and kinberg said sinister would be in apocalypse makes sense now.problem is what logan says about what happened to X-men.of course kinberg with X-force could say cable arriving in present prevented future seen In logan from happening.which would mean mangold film has been screwed over by kinberg again lol
The main thing I'm not 100% buying is the certain special effects being used, as I imagine it would cost quite a bit more than what a 120 million film could produce.
There's barely any actors, sets, costumes etc in this compared to most 100m dollar films.
A casino the dessert a forest not much really going on compared to other film's shooting all over the world with huge cast etc
