Been watching this show for the first time in the past weeks and have finaly finished it.
What a road, enjoyed it even more than i expected. Even the finale i real enjoyed, even if i had some problems with it. [BLACKOUT]Jack being dead got me annoyed at first, but i accepted it and was somewhat fitting. Regarding Jacob and the Man in Black, i honestly wasn't a big fan of that part of the mythology, the origin episode left more questions to be answered and i didn't realy get how MiB became the monster. I also didn't see much of a point in him using Locke's appearance besides keeping the actor.[/BLACKOUT]
While there were many unanswared questions and unfinished storylines, i think Season 3 felt like a finale in a lot of places, as the conflict with the Others came to a logical conclusion and [BLACKOUT]they found a way to get out the island. [BLACKOUT]
That said, Seasons 4 and 5 might have been my favorites, they were shorter but more focused.
I probably missed something a character said, but i have 2 questions regarding the finale:
1. [BLACKOUT]How did "Evil Locke" die with a gunshot wound if bullets didn't do anything on him?[/BLACKOUT]
2. [BLACKOUT]Didn't the plane have some bombs placed by Widmore? They were set to explode if the engine was started, did the characters deactivate them? I don't realy remember that.[/BLACKOUT]
