What did he do to deserve that hell?

There was just a lot of snow where he works. His workplace is like 40 minutes away from our house, which would equate to like 4 hours if he were to drive out in the traffic. He just slept at some coworker's house or something.

Sometimes that is just best. It wasn't a fun ride home for me last night, either. :(

My family lives up north and my dad commutes to Jersey. He actually just worked from home instead of trying to trek out into that monstrosity.

Is that weather of minus 40-50 degrees still going on in some parts of US?

I don't think it's a matter of religion, it's a matter of humanity in general. We fight about other things too -- race, politics, economics and global warming and yeah, Supe's undies. I think since we were born predators and don't always hunt critters anymore we take that pent up desire for the kill and use it on each other. :(
There is truth to that. Anything we identify with that is percieved as being attacked we take personally, even if there was nothing personal in the percieved attack.

It is easy to be harsh at a large group because it's a group, not a person. It is not so easy to be that way at an individual, unless you take away the individual which the internet does. On the internet we're all anonymous, faceless robots as far as your subconcious is concerned. In that sense it is easy to forget there are actual people behind the names and posts.

Not here in Massachusetts. It's about 12 degrees or so here. :)

I think the internet has actually made us meaner. :( It's easier to for mayhem and cruelty because yeah, you aren't face to face with an actual person. Most folks wouldn't behave that way in person.

It's easy to be cruel to a faceless username. Technology has disconnected us from the human experience more and more.

I can much more easily call you a mother ****ing son of a ***** **** **** ***** Squeekness and not feel a thing. If we were talking in person I'd never call you any of those words!

Man, why do almost all job requirements entail enjoying to interact with other people. **** people.

Hee hee. :p

Because most jobs aren't just you alone in a cubicle? :p

I think I need cubicle work. Then again, I'd probably still have to interact with people on the phone. I need something where I just show up, they tell me what to do, I do my work for the day, then go home.

I feel like factory work would be just right for you. Drill a hole in a metal part, 8 hours a day.....5 days a week...for the rest of your life...that doesn't sound fun now does it!?

With luck, an accident won't make it the rest of my life.

Dude, no offense, but that's a pretty unhealthy way of looking at things.

But she's...........negative....you'd love her. You two could hate the world together.

Tell Negative Nancy to stay away from me.
