Not sorry.
A lady finds a guy with scissors for fingers and decides to take him home with her, and every lady wants to feed and f*** him, because he can master trimming hair when he can't touch people.

Both the movie and the community in it :loco:

It's a comedy/fantasy....not a documentary.

No, I don't have the patience to consistently watch 500 movies a year.

What inspired that question?

After reading your review for Edward Scissorhands I never wanted to see that movie again. You have a gift.

you may not want to see the movie again, but you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you never listen to the music ever again

Edward Scissorhands is a masterpiece. Tim Burton's best movie. Easily.

cleaning up my desk and found some code sheets for some of my movies. uploaded them to itunes and got 4k copies of:

Interstellar
Lone Survivor
Monster Trucks
Star Trek Into Darkness
Star Trek Beyond

sold a couple of my movies a while back and need to get rid of some more to free up much needed space lol

I don't buy all that many new films nowadays. Only the ones I know I'm going to rewatch a lot.

i've cut down a ton. i used to get so many free movies and the like that i literally have them in boxes upon boxes cuz i have too many.
i have a few OOP titles and rare/valuable ones i'm thinking of parting ways with too. all the money i've made selling off my collectibles has gone into my Buy a House Savings Fund lol.

According to Pop Price Guide, my Funko Pop collection is worth over 7k. I need to offload at least half of those, if not more. again, lots of freebies here too from various memberships, rewards programs, etc

Nice! How may have you got? I didn't realise they were collector's items.

I buy a lot, LOL! Probably more than I should. But I never said I was a responsible spender :oldrazz:

I was an irresponsible spender on geek stuff through my 20s and 30s but then I ran out of space for stuff. I would start thinking about the long term if you’re a serious hoarder and upping your minimum quality of incoming items. It may help when you get to a later stage in life. ;)

I'm not wired that way, LOL!!! I lack the will power :oldrazz:

At some point practicality overrides everything. :csad:

It didn’t take long before I realised that at my rate of comic purchases I would need a whole street within a decade lol. Was forced to cut down a long time ago till digital comics came on the scene. I stopped buying music a long time ago and then scaled back on films, hardly ever buy TV shows, then stopped buying physical games for the most part and finally now no space for more collectibles. ::csad:

That’s all in regard to physical products, digital I still buy plenty of.

Some of the mods are corrupt on here lately. Im sorry but its true. Example - a mod hates melania trump (which is fine) so when i post saying her coat was nice they remove the post! Just bc they hate melania! They will remove posts if you dont have the same opinion as them. Wtf! Freedom of speech pls

And fyi! I did find melanias coat nice. Doesnt mean i would wear it to visit the locked away children. Im just complementing her clothing. No hate pls

I have tons of movies and such, but the big ones that take up room are my heroclix. I have way too many, LOL! And shall be buying more soon :o

i've sold or donated or gotten rid of a lot of them. add up the ones i have on digital and it's way more than that. that's just a lose estimate.

I still haven't converted to the whole digital thing. Call me old fashioned, LOL! But eventually I will likely be forced to. Physical media is a dying breed.

i fought it for a long time. i still like to pop in a disc and watch them, especially with 4k and some digital copies not porting to 4k, but, there are some movies that i have, that i simply don't need to won a physical disc of

sadly no. most are in storage.

This is what used to happen to me and I decided I wanted collectibles at least to either be on display or be moved on. That also meant rising my minimum standard for incoming collectibles.

If I can commit to one ulitmate line of collectibles that covers as many different areas of geek material as pops, while being more serious and high end, i would go for the kill and also consider moving a lot of other stuff on. Sometimes too many options is not a good thing. I want one definitive statue of every main character I care about.

I only buy those movies on 4K now. Everything else is available on cable/Netflix/Amazon Prime (in either inferior 4K or HD).

The only thing where physical will obviously always be king is collectibles. With films and games the covers are usually hidden (when stored on shelves) so I don't need to own them physically for collection purposes any more. If the cover art is worthy of taking up wall real estate, then that is different. Otherwise buying a physical game/film/TV show is just a bit of writing on the side of a case to me in terms of what I will derive from it day to day. While all the statues and figures and anything displayed on my walls and shelves is adding to my life all the time. The quality bump is worth it on films that I will watch loads of times though so I don't hesitate on those.

iceman, have you ever posted pics of your collectibles?
