The bit where the T-Rex is messing with the car while the kids are in it always freaked me out as a child.
Yes, that along with the Velociraptor scenes towards the end.

Christ Almighty! Marvel is doing more rewrites on Antman. This is the team they've got so far:

Directing: Bring It On director Peyton Reed

Writers:
1.Anchorman screenwriter/director Adam McKay

2. Gabriel Ferrari

3. Andrew Barrer

Those last two have been brought in to write the final script. If you dont know who they are...they are writing the upcoming Sabrina the Teenage Witch movie. Yep, this is who Marvel has resorted to in place of Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish. This is like watching a bullet train crash in slow motion.

Ant-Man might very well be Marvel's biggest bomb.

lmao and Scott Pilgrim VS The World was a box office success.

Scott Pilgrim was never going to be a box office hit. Its too niche and the general audience didnt know what to make of it. That is hardly Wright's fault. The film itself is well made regardless of its box office performance. Besides, his other films have been successes.

Back to Ant-Man, we are one year from release. Thats a year to finish the script, complete principal photography, and post production. Given the nature of the film and the very limited post production time they are going to have its almost guaranteed that the cgi wont be up to snuff. So thats a potentially awful script, bad cgi, and questionable direction and editing. All that adds up to Marvel eating crow. At this point I want the cast to bail so they dont have this film as a black mark on their resume.

Or a BIG cluster F#$%*. :o

Honestly I wasn't interested in seeing it before I heard about all the good things that might happen from the last director then I got interested but if Marvel is going through with all of this with the same release date they should either just scrap it entirely or push it back six months to a year minimum.

Haha thats what I meant. I doubt Marvel will ever publically admit they made a mistake but itd be great to see Marvel admit they screwed up and were wrong.

Ooooooooooooooooo, looks like you had some fun. LOL
Indeed I did :word:

The only reason I was interested in Ant-man was Wright and Cornish. Without them I'm pretty much uninterested in the whole thing.

I'm telling you, Marvel's going to push it back.

Ultron was always Pyms motivation to keep pushing his boundaries. He made the genocidal robot and he keeps pushing himself to make better and more awesome things to make up for it. Without Ultron, what's his point in the fight? Just to do it for the lulz?

Without Ultron, I still don't see the purpose of Ant-Man.

There was no purpose. The truth is, and I dont care if Marvel denies this until they are blue in the face, the truth is that they only greenlit the film, because Wright had a great pitch. They were never planning an Ant-Man film and the character never factored into their grand plan. Wright approached Marvel and had a good pitch and they decided to greenlight it cause why not. Before Wright, Ant-Man wasnt on Marvel's radar.

I really dont think they care if this bombs for one reason, the Avengers 2 box office and the fact that their account books are no doubt so far in the black that a total bomb wouldnt hurt them. They are willing to roll the dice and take the chance this might bomb rather than throwing off their release schedule with a delay or cancellation, because a bomb wont hurt them. And if it does bomb and the general public doesnt like the character Marvel can ditch him because he is essentially a narrative culdesac. This is why Ultron isnt involved with him. Marvel didnt want to make Ant-Man an integral part of the Marvel Movie Universe from the start because he is so niche.

I'm sure someone other than you understands that AR.

Part of me wants to change my avatar, but it's been so many years that it might be best to leave mine as it is...forever.
