I made the mistake I make with evolution, and mentioned the word for one specific use
Forgot the other word for a pharmacy; "Drug Store"
I took a look on this subject, and saw what you just said
I'm looking more to see what drives a person toward a second sniff
Now I'm interested in knowing why some get addicted while others don't
Here's hoping you drop those two
I haven't seen the effect on people I know (if that is what you mean), I feel sorry for who had their lives torn apart by any thing
Here is a great article about a guy and his time with crack:

Addiction is different for everyone. Like I said I've done pretty much everything under the sun and most of it doesn't phase me. I do have an addicting personality which is why it's so hard for me to give up cigarettes but I do really like smoking them. It's not really about if a person is weak or not, it really all comes down to body chemistry. The drug that really got me was MDMA (also known as Ecstasy). With that it really does a number on your brain and life doesn't feel right when your doing it all the time since your bodies response to the flood of chemicals is to stop producing them which can cause some to get depressed. All in all I wouldn't change anything about my past and all the money some feel I've wasted on substances since it lead me to where I am now.
