I'm not watching Farscape, I won't even watch Babylon 5 despite my best friend practically forcing me to on several occasions. :p

Effects wise Babylon 5 is oh so hard to watch.

I'm waiting for that day when I wake up and can actually say that the world is so different it wasn't like that when I was growing up.

Go watch some Kids React to Technology videos. That'll make you feel damn old.

I saw kids react to the old days of the internet
Didn't make me feel old

I love Farscape and Firefly and those are the two vibes I get from every bit of GOTG footage I see so if the film can tap into what makes me love those two franchise I will be a very happy camper. Underdog ragtag teams in a galaxy of strangeness is my kind of thing. Now the question is will the general audience take to the strangeness? Who knows, but television of that nature has never been a smash hit. Sure the shows have their faithful fans but there is no denying that Firefly and Farscape are niche. This being a Marvel film I do think GOTG has a leg up that Firefly and Farscape didn't have, but it's still an uphill battle. The movie needs good word of mouth in the first week and to find it's footing.

A good sign is at my Planet of the Apes screening the trailer got a lot of laughs. People seemed to be enamored by the heart and fun vibes that the movie is wearing on its sleeves. Idk if that means people will rush to see it in theaters, but it will make it's money back. People will check it out on DVD/blu-ray.

The "Marvel" tag is a HUGE leg up for the GotG franchise. It's almost the same kind of automatic boost that comes with slapping "Star Wars" onto a movie.

I just hope it's good, and it does look like it's going to be.

I have been rereading Batman Inc., and had a suspicion grow: I'm pretty sure Grant Morrison has visited the Hype.

Because it's terrible written and makes little sense? :p

I wouldn't know
I stopped reading Batman after Batman & Robin 13

I think I tried reading Batman Inc. once and just didn't like it at all. That's all I remember from it.

List 1.2

1. Eva Green
2. Lara Pulver
3. Vera Farmiga
4. Karen Gillan
5. Mara Wilson
6. Kat Dennings
6. Kat Dennings (Heh-heh.)
7.Carice Van Houten
8. Amy Adams
9. Anne Hathaway
10.Emma Stone
I'll take just Anne on that list. Amy can come along too as her friend. :word:

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is phenomenal! 9/10

It only falters in two areas:

1. Kirk Acevedo's character is the most cliche ******* imaginable. He is a literal plot device to cause trouble between human's and apes. Just pure concentrated moron.

2. Kerry Russell and Kodi Smit-Mcphee's characters have very little to do and what little back story and depth they try to give Russell's character doesn't work all to well cause it's so little. But this is a minor grievance and the rest of the movie is such a powerhouse of cinema excellence that it makes these problems seem like literal molehills standing next to the Everest that is this movie's quality.

The film has a ton of heart and character and you might and likely will find yourself caring about cgi apes in a way you didn't think was possible. Check out the film, Hypesters, it's worth every penny and deserves it's praise.

I had no idea the reviews were so good. I'm definitely watching this now.
As good as the first. :) Worth the ticket price.
I liked that one so I'll have to check this out.

I bought an iPod cause I needed a bigger MP3 player, an Xbox 360 for college, and a ps3 just as a little graduation present to myself
