apparently umberto said DC is working towards releasing 3-4 DCEU films a year

We're not seriously putting stock in what Eh Maybe says are we? :funny:

He recently debunked that rumour of Brainiac and Supergirl in MOS2 even though he started the same rumour years ago :funny:

apparently tactical batman has a double cape???

I really like this shot
Is that from a bootleg screener? You should remove it before mods jump on you. :cwink:

I normally am chill when it comes to casting, but i will be furious if my Jane Levy aint Barbara Gordon. Even more so after rewatching Don't Breathe.

Alvarez is attached to the reboot of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I wonder if he'll cast his waifu as Lisbeth. :sly: I would totally be okay with it.

I've watched power rangers. The first act is smooth till Rita shows up. Also the car chase at the beginning great switching camera moves. I give the props for using Yezzy's song.

Nope:

Alvarez: No, she hates my guts. She really does. I'm not trying to be funny. She really hates me. It's just, and I don't blame her. She's always put through a lot in my films. I'm really tough with her. On the first days we're friends and then I'm really tough on her with every scene and she goes like who are you? Like I'm just entertaining the audience. Usually by the end of the process, and on Evil Dead she survived it for other reasons, but I think maybe because it was her first big film. On this one [Don't Breathe], it was kind of harder. I love her, I think she's awesome. Like I said, you should ask her. It was tough. But I don't blame her honestly. I think it's... she's an amazing actress and she puts everything out of herself in these movies. She really goes for it and she never phones it in. She's 200 percent in every shot. And that takes a toll, and I think on a movie like this one, I mean, the turkey baster scene is terrifying not just from the point of view of I'm going to shoot this, I'm going to hang myself from this harness and let them do this to me, plus it's also like how is the audience going to react to this? On the page, once you're in the movie, you're secure in the way that you get it, maybe laugh at it, terrified by it, I can't laugh at a rape scene, your brain goes what the fu, your brain goes crazy. When you read it on the page, it's usually one of the things that terrifies you. Am I really going to do this? I'm going to put myself through this? So there's a lot of trust they have to have and she had it. She really went and did it and she never knew how it was going to come across or turn out. And today I don't think she likes the movie either. She never told me she does. That's why I don't blame her. She doesn't have to like it. It doesn't mean because she's in it or because I made it she needs to like the movie. That's why things are complicated because she's very talented. Very talented and very complicated and she's super talented and super smart and maybe this is not her kind of movie or there was something there that maybe wasn't what she expected. Maybe one day we'll have a conversation and everything is fine, but I can tell you honestly I think she hates me.

They also apparently unfollowed each other on twitter. lol

Hot Toys??

Also, the torso and right arm looks way too big/long compared to the rest of the body (or maybe I'm wrong and it's just a weird angle, can't unsee it anyways. :csad: )

Play Arts Kai. Like $50 as opposed to HT. Their figures are anime inspired so the anatomy is always off, but they look damn good.

My top three Batgirl choices:

Jane Levy
Mary Elizabeth Winstead
Lily James

------

And then:

Zoe Kravitz
Emma Stone
Lyndsy Fonseca
Lindsey Morgan

If they're going for an imposing Babs, MEW is obvious with her 5' 8".

James held her own in the action scenes in that awful Pride and Prejudice and Zombies flick. She did her own stunts too.

Surely my top three choices are obvious and the bald Whedon has a similar one. I'd like to think so, but his WW script is nothing but poop, baby.

Black Mirror S1E1 ****ed me up. There's this uneasy feeling, this pit in my stomach. I already hated the media, and I hate them even more now.

Wait, you just started watching it?

Welcome to the club, mate.

Third season is a bit of a hit and miss, but there are few great episodes there as well. Second episode of first season ("Fifteen Million Merits") probably remains my favorite. Don't know the actor, but he kills it.

Was that at the end an actual window with a real view or did he just sold out for a "bigger cell and a bigger screen" ? The show isn't really about happy endings so I assume it's the latter.

It's the latter. He, as well, sold out in the end. Perfectly symbolized through that elaborate (and probably expensive) penguin statue in the end, replacing the paper penguin given earlier to him by Abi, which actually represented something, unlike the fancy, but lifeless wooden version. A chilling episode. It might step away from their usual near future vibe and goes for a more dystopian setting, but it gets me every time. When I first watched it, I truly needed some time to recover from it all.

Out of all of the DCEU superhero costumes in current existence, this has to be by far the ugliest design that I've ever seen.

To think that this version of Robin really went out to fight in crime wearing nothing but rubber shorts like in the original comics.
