Out of all of the DCEU superhero costumes in current existence, this has to be by far the ugliest design that I've ever seen.

To think that this version of Robin really went out to fight in crime wearing nothing but rubber shorts like in the original comics.

Maybe he had great legs.

"Black Mirror" becomes more and more relevant show. Though I'd say that "Transmetropolitan" provides a more appropriate picture of where we're going.
I still need to read it.

Talk about white guilt taken to the extreme. And here I thought I'd seen everything.

You won't regret it. It's often ridiculously loud and over-the-top, but behind it all, there are some serious themes and relevant social commentary. You grow to really like the characters and occasionally, there are some quieter issues with a lot of heart to them. One of the best graphic novels I've ever read for sure.

Alright. I'm about to start Moore's Swamp Thing so I'll check that out after. I think my local library has the omnibus.

Third season is a bit of a hit and miss, but there are few great episodes there as well. Second episode of first season ("Fifteen Million Merits") probably remains my favorite. Don't know the actor, but he kills it.
EVERY season was hit and miss for me, but the 3rd season had the most "hits," imo (helped by having the most eps). That said, I LOVE the show. I just expect a dud or two in every season at this point, lol.

Also, that actor is Daniel Kaluuya, who was also great in Sicario and Get Out. He's playing W'Kabi in Black Panther, too.

Perhaps he wore a black undersuit that was destroyed.

Random isssh.

So a few weeks ago i met a ''lady'' director and she stated that she got or was going to get into sundance ( i honestly can't remember for the life of me)...Anyway, she did not take it too well that i was shocked of her being a director, cause she was so hot. I kinda said, ''you should be a model'' or something like that. She recommended a few indie films.

Yes, i was a bit high.

First time that I came across these.

Out of all of the fan edits that I've seen, trying to saturate the footage from MOS with color, this is probably the only edit that I've seen that really did a great job (professionally) in making the colors look vibrant in a natural way, almost as if they were presenting the original footage before Snyder's editors had a chance to place their official color filters on it.

Though on the only downside is that the editor chose to rescore the scenes with music from Christopher Reeve's Superman films.

Heh. That brought a wide grin to my face. So nice to see other studios support films from other studios.

Also, it could be their way of showing support to Matt Reeves since he'll be directing The Batman. God, I cannot wait for the first trailer for Reeves Batman to hit. :hmr::hmr::hmr:

The remastered colour looks great. I always thought BvS had more vibrant hues than MOS. The score, not so much. Which is why I am still worried about someone other than Junkie or Zimmer scoring a Snyder DCEU movie.

I like it minus the shorts

Yeah I don't get why he used Superman the Movie score at all.

That was not great...

Black Mirror E2 was even more brutal and gut wrenching. ****.

He didn't say that and that was not the whole movie. He didn't like that little 'Vulture's Team' snippet. That is all.

The smiley and question should have been the hint that I had no idea what he was referring to.

Been a while since I last watched Booker's Black Mirror. I still remember being unsettled by the first episode mainly because I thought that it hit too close to reality. Lo and behold, we have an almost real life situation with the rumour by a Tory who made a claim about former PM Cameron...lol

Why we should all be afraid of Black Mirror:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/item/5c0ce0ab-c88f-45be-b44d-59841e5f9e64

1. That time the Prime Minister [BLACKOUT]had sex with a pig[/BLACKOUT]

Black Mirror: ‘National Anthem’ (S1): The infamous episode where a terrorist captures the Duchess of Beaumont, and will only release her once [BLACKOUT]the poor Prime Minister (Rory Kinnear) has had sex with a pig live on national television.[/BLACKOUT]

The Reality: In a bizarre twist of fate, David Cameron was [BLACKOUT]rumoured to have had, er… relations with a dead pig's head.[/BLACKOUT]

2. Digital Life after Death

Black Mirror: ‘Be Right Back’ (S2): A women replicates her dead boyfriend using tech that filters together his personality via social media accounts.

Reality: This is already happening, with Bina48 being one of the most advanced examples. She’s a social robot who has been created using video interview transcripts, laser-scanning life mask technology, face recognition, artificial intelligence and voice-recognition technologies.

3. Sky plus for the brain

Black Mirror: Entire History of You (S2): Using memory implants in the head called ‘grains’, everyone can record everything they do, see and hear, as well as play back any moment with on-screen ‘redos’.

The Reality: Samsung recently patented a live-stream contact lens, which takes a picture whenever the wearer blinks. The lenses are hooked up to a smartphone, which receives a live stream of whatever the wearer is looking at.

4. Smartphone Dystopia

Black Mirror: White Bear (S2): Hordes of people mindlessly follow a girl. They watch her every movement from behind their smartphone lenses, a silent audience stalking her for sheer entertainment.

The Reality: Pokemon Go became a global obsession this summer, gluing thousands of people to phone screens as they hunted for augmented reality creatures in the real world. People quit their jobs, trespassed, discovered dead bodies, fell off cliffs, crashed cars, broke into zoos and even kept playing after getting stabbed.

5. The future is not bright for bees

Black Mirror ‘Hated in the Nation’ S3: Without giving away any actual spoilers, this episode features a swarm of mechanical bees, developed after the real honeybee died out.

Reality: The Black Mirror team recently discovered that mechanical bees are already being developed. Harvard have a swarm of 60 mechanical bees with an identical function to that depicted in Black Mirror – and, once you’ve seen it, you’ll understand why that’s so terrifying.
