I'm guessing the new DC Films Banner will be the new direction and the DCEU will simply be apart of that banner as its own category of films. Maybe one huge umbrella is brewing. The Multiverse is around the corner?

But you get what I mean right? Let's get the DCEU in good order and have more than 1 not divisive movie no matter how much I liked Mos/BvS UE. Let's concentrate on making the key movies such as Flash, and GLC etc first before we think about random spin offs.

Agreed. Every main JL member should get successful solos before you introduce lesser characters or more complex stuff or alternative Elseworlds stories. Things usually only start getting spinoffs when the base product is established and successful. Doing these kinds of things early means you don't have that base to leverage from and also further confuses the message to the GA at a time when consolidation of it is vital.

Update from Borys: I accidentally let it slip that Matt Reeves' casting a new Batman, and WB rep called me saying it's either my head or the delete button, so I chose the later.

It's still basically going to have aspects of the Gotham City Sirens movie we all expected for like 2020. The only real news is confirmation of Joker being along for the ride and Ayer kicked to the curb.

Meh, the dude had a TON of pressure to get to Justice League around the time Man of Steel came out that Snyder and the cast couldn't do anything before being asked about a Justice League film. From the stuff that I followed non-stop, many wanted JL right after Man of Steel and Zack proposed BvS instead that was a continuation of Man of Steel. Justice League is the 5th film of the franchise. It's about time but the hot-seat of a JL film was hot and heavy when MoS was about to release.
