We're officially in Bizarro World. What use to be concrete editorial is now backwards in todays internet society. Nothing can be takin' as absolutes or face value anymore.

I liked CSL as well, along with Focus, but the thing is: do we really need another Joker/Harley film?

If it can bring a truckload of cash into WB's safe, why not? They're a very popular duo. Lots of couples dressed up as them last year during Halloween because of SS. Let's not forget the countless cosplayers at comic-cons every year.

You wont know till you have seen it. I mean the people who were complaining about Heath Ledger as the Joker are the same people who now think his is the only way to do the character.

It's not that I won't like the picture. I'm even a fan of the creative team in talks to direct it. There's just such a wealth of other characters in the DC universe that have yet to be tapped.

But it's not like we haven't heard about those wealth of characters. Shazam is next into production. Aquaman comes out next year. Flash has Flashpoint. Wonder Woman 2 is being finalized. Nightwing is in development. Superman's sequel is still a possibility and has his return in Justice League. Green Lantern Corps was on the slate at Comic Con just a month ago. It's all been presented to us in one form or another. What will be made and what won't be made is another story altogether.

They didn't even need to do that. It was kind of a non-issue for Joe Public to begin with. If this is what they do for Whedon, I can't wait for the announcements if Affleck ends up leaving after JL.

Also, I know I said in the last thread I was taking a break from SHH after all the madness last night and this morning, but this s*** was too good to pass up.

Agreed with that 100%. A ton can and most likely will change after Justice League releases, let alone the response and BO to that. So much is yet to play out from now until November/beginning of 2018. Fasten the seatbelts.

Same here. Participating in this madness is great but it could all be for nothin' in the longrun depending on JL. Though, if MoS2 were ever to be officially announced, that would be it. I would instantly take off all my clothes and run around in the nude.

I feel the same. Amidst all these other DC movie announcements, I'm just waiting on that MOS2 announcement. Hopefully the only reason we are not hearing it now is because Superman still has to come back to life in JL.

I miss the good ol days where the delay of a film was the most that brought panic from DCEU fans across the boards. But even with a film delay, there was certainty that we were getting a Batman v Superman film directed by the director who was initially announced to be directing it.
