Jessica Chastain seems to be a one note actress to me, but she plays that one note really good tho.

Miss Sloane was the film that made me see her with new eyes for whatever reason. I've liked her ever since.

Miss Sloane was FANTASTIC. Saw it for the first time last week, riveting movie. I loved how they didn't excuse how cold she was with some plot manuever like they usually do in movies

^ Yeah, it's definitely underrated.

I watched it right after CMBYN cause I needed something with substance and fast paced and it was so surprising. I actually gasped several times and didn't see the twist coming at all. Always lovely to see Mark Strong in a film too and not offensive garbage like Kingsman 2.

CBMYN? What's that?

Thank you very much, guys.

What an evening! :ilv:

On one hand, it sucks, on the other, there are people with much worse health issues so I'm not whining about that or anything. The only thing that really irritates me is without sugar, my brain is like inhibited. :wall: I can really feel I'm a lot slower and dumber then I used to be. :funny: Which I really hate, I loved my intellect. :csad: :woot: I studied logic at university and now I'm glad I can detect a spelling error when I'm posting here, I've become quite dyslexic, I'm speaking a lot slower since I just can't find words, for example, etc. :whatever: :cmad:

Time to destroy some more brain cells with booze and pot. :funny:

Damn bro. Comments like this can be eye opening for me when I think about complaining about stupid **** in my life. I'm 30 and I've never had a health scare or spent time in hospitals before, **** I don't even have a single bad tooth and yet I spend a portion of my free time complaining about some movie company treating my favorite comic characters bad. It's ridiculous and when I see comments like that it becomes truly embarrassing for me. For real tho, wish you nothing but the best.

You know, in the end, this fricking whining about our beloved movies and characters is where the fun is. Sometimes when one sees all the suffering in the world and wants to help everybody... ultimately he's glad he can just help himself, his nearest vicinity and don't piss off more people than is unavoidable in our day to day lives.

Like... One hopes there's some higher meaning or something, but after reading not even too many philosophical books and putting one and one together, I'm glad I'm haven't end up in a madhouse, that I'm able to function at least somewhat normally and go here to rant about Disney ruining everything. Lel.

I, and many I am sure do not see you as moaning mate. Facing severe health issues, is brave and yes, many who have and do face 'worse' each day, it's relative, I face a battle every day as do you, that's bravery, it's not a question of levels of 'worsening'. If it hurts and affects your life, then it matters. Sent you a PM dude.

She was great in The Zookeeper's Wife. Also Take Shelter was probably the first role I saw her in and she was great in that.

I loved her in A Most Violent Year. Miles away from her character in The Help, lol.

It will be interesting to see her in Dark Phoenix.

Watch her in Mama. You won't recognize her.

What do you guys reckon the 20 MCU movies after Avengers 4 are?

Movies to add up to trilogies of the new characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Carol Danvers, Strange...maybe an Avengers movie in-between here and there, and maybe Ant-Man. And I dunno, depending on when this merger with Fox is looked at, maybe sprinkle an X-Men or Fantastic 4 film here and there.

Though personally, I won't be nearly as invested in the MCU at that point. Heck, even now I find myself more excited for the likes of Black Panther than Infinity War, which I'm not as anticipated for as other comic based films this year.

And on Chastain, yes, excellent in A Most Violent Year...which is a deceptively titled film. She reminded me of Kelly Reilly's character on the second season of True Detective.

I kinda wish all these films were done and put out waaay sooner. Kinda feels like a bummer growing a year older with each one of these films. Especially if they suck. BY the time The Batman comes out we all gonna be about two or three years older. Goddamn.

Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 3
Doctor Strange 2
Doctor Strange 3
Guardians of the Galaxy 3
Black Panther 2
Black Panther 3
Captain Marvel 2
Captain Marvel 3
Ant-Man 3
Avengers 5
Avengers 6
Avengers 7

That's 13 right there, which leaves room for at least 3 new IP trilogies. I'll be surprised if F4 and/or X-Men aren't included now.
