Live and let die was one odd Bond movie :woot:

Me too. Personally, I think it would be great to have back.

start one if you'd like. just make sure all the rules and whatnot are in the first post.

and like i said before, it will be closed again if people can't adhere to the rules

I'm on my phone now and I'm pretty bad at typing on a touch keyboard so someone else should do it (and someone who knows the rules of the thread).

*looks at Kane*

I've started way too many threads in my time, I want the glory to go to someone else...like Hound.

Got in a wreck today. Ice and cars don't mix.
That's harsh, it's pleasant to see the damage not in an extreme level, still harsh to look at

I did it for The Rock.

This weekend I saw a car with no rear bumper at all, aside from a fat stalk of bamboo screwed to hang just above the license plate. :funny:

I GUESS it's a bumper, but it wouldn't do much good at all in an actual wreck...

Also, I apparently don't have class today because the campus is closed to the high wind damage last night. "Apparently" because I didn't get a roboemail, but the school has it on their website and Facebook page.

Yeah it's SoCal so our trees are flimsy, but I've been through nor'easters and the wind last night was on par. At least it was JUST wind and no rain or snow but...yeah. Trees are a'falling on power lines and roofs and cars anyway. :oldrazz:

I am sooo not ready for snow. :(

After 8 months of struggling with my Samsung 640GB hard disc trying to make it work properly and get it fixed to no avail, finally opened up the casing, and I wanted not to stoop to that level :(

Never had that problem. Mostly because I don't have a cellphone of any sorts.

I couldn't imagine not having a cell phone, and I am not one of those who is married to one. I just like having the security.

I think I use my cellphone about once a month. I just keep it around in case of an emergency.

The constant thought running through my head is just how tired I am. I work a crazy Nightshift/Afternoon Shift schedule and my Circadian rhythm is completely out of whack. It's like a really terrible drummer inside my head banging away at her drums.

Allow me to give you a visual and sadly aural representation of my Circadian Rhythm:

I remember not having a cell phone. It's really no different than having one. Only thing it's provided me with is easier contact with friends via Facebook/Twitter and I can look things up on the Internet at work.

I remember still having a rotary phone. My cousin was visiting and he is about 4 years younger than me and he just stared at the phone because he didn't even know how to use it! :woot:

I think my mom still has our old rotary phones upstairs in her attic. I may pull them out just to blow some minds. See how many people give me this look...

When the zombie apocalypse comes you have GOT to be prepared! :wow:

I remember rotary phones, but I'm not sure if I've ever used one. :funny:

But I DON'T remember how we took a mall trip as a family without cell phones! We'd be wandering around trying to look for each other among the clothing racks, I guess! Which is really hard when your entire family is short, and it only got harder when we moved to the Bay Area because everyone else was Asian too. :oldrazz:

I remain in the dark ages, I do not yet have a phone with Internet capabilities. :( I just don't feel the need for that yet.

I feel really bad for the newer generation of kids/people. They are so spoiled. I understand that a lot of people feel that way about newer generations. Even when I was a kid/teenager I'm sure there were sections of people who thought we were spoiled with our Nintendo's and Sega Gensis. :oldrazz:

But I don't know...there are people who I've talked to who can't even navigate in their cars without a GPS. Seriously?! :oldrazz:

I'm in that generation pre-Internet and post-Internet. I remember getting AOL in 1994 and it was like opening up this whole new world of awesomeness. You went into chat rooms and your mailbox got filled with porn. As a 14 year old boy at the time it was the greatest thing on earth. Then there were the "warez" rooms where you got free software and PC games.

Then they had to go and regulate things! Jerks! :cmad::oldrazz: The Internet is cool and everything still but it was NOTHING like it was back when it first started.

That's the only thing I want on for. I don't really call anyone and I hate talking on phones. It's awkward for me.

I've imagined having a cellphone for years. Each time I see myself becoming dependent on it and just letting it distract me. I'm already easily distracted, I don't need any help.

I use my cell phone to:

send quick notes to friends
to purchase stuff off Ebay
find me movie times
check on sports scores
find me the names of songs playing on the radio
program my dvr
change my netflix queue

I mean yeah, I can do all these things on a computer. But I don't carry a computer with me when I'm out and about.
