So Eddie Money has stage four esophageal cancer. :( Good thing I finally saw him in concert a couple of years back.
For a moment I saw Eddie Murphy. I saw about Money having cancer last night but then I misread that.

It's the same cancer that got my dad. Stage four, he hasn't got long. :(

Thanks to that I now know that Donald Trump booty plugs exist. So now you too can be just like Putin.

i specialize in owning movies and not watching them

last week i finished up season 3 of buffy the vampire slayer and started season 4 of it, and season 1 of angel concurrently. that's major progress for me

I have all the Buffy and Angel series on DVD....just haven't got around to watching them yet. So you're ahead of me there.

Which ones?
*The Lady Vanishes (1938) Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
*Rich and Strange (1931) Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
*Easy Virtue (1928) Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
*Secret Agent (1936) Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
*The Skin game (1931) Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
*The 39 Steps (1935) Directed by Alfred Hitchcock

The Lady Vanishes and 39 Steps were the overall best in my opinion....and Secret Agent needs to be seen for Peter Lorre's performance alone. The other three are not your typical Hitchcock films at all. The Skin Game is about two men trying to buy the same piece of and in the countryside....one wants to preserve it, the other to build factory on it. Rich and strange is about a married couple that go on a around the world cruise and each fall in love with another person. Easy Virtue is about a woman marrying a guy and his mother not liking her and so does whatever she can to get them to divorce.

i have the angel series on dvd and a season of buffy but i own them digitally, purchased during various sales or deals or with credit

I specialize in buying books I don't have time to read. :p
i have a ton of those too ugh
there isn't enough time for me to watch the shows, and movies i want to see, and read the books i want and hear the music i want to experience. stupid jobs and responsibilities in the way and all that

on a side note: i want to beef up my computer security. i have a VPN, i have AVG, and CCleaner, although i'm not sure that counts as a security measure. just wondering what everyone out there uses and what they'd recommend.

Nice! Yeah I agree The 39 Steps and The Lady Vanishes are easily the best of that bunch. I ranked The 39 Steps just a smidge higher on my list of favorites, but I honestly love them both about equally. I was pleasantly surprised by Rich and Strange (mainly for how wacky it turned out to be; the bit with the pirates cracked me up in a morbid way), and I thought Secret Agent was pretty solid (really liked all 3 of the leads in that one)...didn't much care for the other two, though. Especially Easy Virtue. Blech. My least-favorite of all his silent films.

there was a Biel film a few years back called Easy Virtue. Is that a remake of the Hitchcock?

Also, Batman trivia on HQ tonight. i'm ready to win some moolah
