I am watching the Exorcist for the first time in years. I forgot how long this one felt for the first two acts. But once it gets going, goddamn.

saw joker the other day... its pretty amazing. its sad... some comedy... dark... best performance ive seen in a long long time. I wouldnt mind it having a sequel or him being in a batman movie... but i think it would be best to just leave it alone.

....that said, the unrelenting amount of schadenfreude I’d get from seeing the show absolutely fail him would probably sustain me through the winter.

Witcher is going to be absolutely terrible, isn't it? That's the only way this can possibly end.

That is the thing. I want it to be good, I really do. But I am not counting on it. It feels like one of those situations where Netflix kind of just threw some money at something they hope will be their GoT. If their Geralt casting was stronger, I'd feel better about all this. But because the most important part is iffy at best, the core of the show is probably going to be weak. So it is going to make all the other issues more glaring.
