Yeah from what I've its in the planning stages but I have yet to hear anything new.....but lets hope so because if its one thing this world needs in Macgyver back in action.There are a few ways to go about this..number one....
1. Macgyver found he had a son in the last episode,now all grown up the kid takes over from dad and we get a young Macgyver working with pops(anderson) in the new film.
2. the concept of Macgyvers nephew in the never aired piolt Young Macgyver.It was played by Jared Padelcki or however he spells it(supernatural). Bring him back working with Uncle Angus(anderson).
3. new cast and go from there...honestly i like all three ideas.As far as casting goes..well

2. well Jared played him in the piolt then why not now
3.Recasting the iconic role of Macgyver wouldnt be easy but I like two for the role.If we are going for a slightly younger Macgyver then i would say Joshua Jackson if we are going for a slighty older but still young enough Macgyver then I would say Timothy Olyphant.
