Well, let's not go crazy. I like Hardy but I have yet to see him as anybody but Tom Hardy in a lot of roles sans maybe one or two. He's becoming more recognizable.
I still can't believe the clone Picard from Star Trek Nemesis is the same guy who played Tommy in Warrior.
He's a little bit of Brando..a little bit Oldman.
But honestly should they have casted Tom Hardy as Mad Max? Probably not if anything if they were going to reboot Mad Max they should have casted an Australian actor in the role rather than casting an Englishman in the role but knowing Hardy I am sure he will surprise us all as Max Rockatansky considering he played Bane in Dark Knight Rises and he pretty much stole the show in that movie
Terrible is a stretch.
It varies. With Oldman for example you really have to know the guy sometimes to figure out it's him under all that ****. He doesn't just have that one familiar look most actors have out of costume.
It's really weird seeing Hardy in Star Trek in hindsight. He looked like someone who couldn't bulk up if he tried.
And yea, Hardy had a better body in Warrior than TDKR.
He came off the same assembly line as Sam Worthington.
Haha, yeah. I remember when I saw the movie poster for ST: Nemesis. My initial reaction was: Picard and the crew face off against... Billy Corgan?!
Tom is one of those guys who looks better and more handsome now than he did when he was in his 20's. Same thing with Chris Pine. He looked weird in The Prince Diaries. Maybe it's the muscle gain.
