everything makes sense now. how this movie is a big chase scene. 1 hour and 25 minutes is enough. this looks like a fast paced simple story.

This looks cool.

I assume this is the basics of a first trailer, if not the first trailer proper. I dont think this trailer would do a good job of capturing the eye of the GA or an average film goer.
It also made it seem like Charlize Theron had a bigger role than even Hardy

But as I said this looks good. I'll check it out

Looks really rad, but I'm not blown away. Kinda feels to me like the hype was a bit overblown, just my opinion though.

I feel the same way. Maybe I would've liked it more if it hadn't been built up as TEH GREATEST THING EVAR.

aside from BvS, i am hyped for this.
it's like vehicular carnage porn.
but hopefully the human element will still be at the core of this, like the previous movies.

could the opening of the movie be any better?Max drives in his old car and gets captured. they cut his hair and give him a big tattoo on his back. and then they chain him on the front of a car. and the movie begins.

in 2013 WB made a big risk with Gravity. in 2015 they will do it again with Mad Max. lets hope its a good movie.

I too always hoped Gibson would get one more run to kind of close out the character, tho, I do feel like Max is a character who better lends himself to multiple interpretations like Batman or Bond instead of say, Indiana Jones for whom I don't think a recast will ever work.

yea indiana jones is too tied to harrison ford.
but u can argue mad max is tied to mel gibson too, he's sorta like The Man with No Name played by Clint Eastwood.
the reluctant or stoic hero archetype.

I sent my cousin the trailer. He's a big Max fan and I wondered if he would not like the absence of Mel. He said, "Perhaps... Too much awesomeness for 2 minutes!! Perhaps the greatest choice for leads I do honestly believe that I will break someone's neck if they prevent me from seeing that on the first night!!"
